You can run a continuous YouTube stream of temple bells and rain sounds by clearing the rights to every recording and image, confirming your channel can go live, and sending a prepared audio-and-visual feed through an encoder. For a 24/7 broadcast, rehearse the setup and plan for failures: a single long stream is not a dependable way to preserve a complete replay, and continuous operation or monetization is never guaranteed.
Check that your channel can live stream
Before assembling the broadcast, open YouTube Studio and confirm live streaming is available for the channel. YouTube’s current guidance says the channel must be verified, have no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days, and the person streaming must be at least 16 years old. See YouTube’s live-streaming guidance and check the channel itself in Studio; do not build a continuous setup around assumed eligibility.
Clear the audio and visuals before using them
Use sounds and imagery you created or have documented permission to broadcast. Keep copies of licences and permissions. If you plan to record at a temple, ask the relevant temple authority for permission to record and broadcast there. YouTube’s platform guidance does not determine access or recording rules for a particular Indian temple, nor does it resolve how Indian copyright law applies to a particular recording.

A USB microphone is one possible way to capture original sound, not a requirement. YouTube’s encoder guidance discusses microphones and audio equipment as possible parts of a setup, but it does not endorse a particular model. A microphone does not grant permission to record at a temple or clear rights in captured material.

Understand Content ID risk
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A match can replace the stream with a placeholder, interrupt it, or terminate it. Even if you have a licence, the rights owner may need to allowlist your channel in Content ID. YouTube advises: “If your live stream stops, check your YouTube Studio dashboard for strikes.” Read YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams and resolve any permissions or allowlisting before going live.
Prepare the continuous audio-and-visual feed
Make a playback-ready audio track and a visual loop you are entitled to use. Check that the audio does not clip, contain unintended gaps, or have an abrupt seam when it repeats. Review the visual loop for transitions, accidental black frames, and material you do not have permission to broadcast. The sources cited here do not establish a required resolution, bitrate, or encoder setting for this particular ambience stream; use the encoder’s supported settings and check the resulting preview rather than assuming one preset fits every connection and source.

Connect an encoder to YouTube
- In YouTube Studio, create or schedule a live stream. Choose the live-streaming workflow that uses streaming software/encoder, then enter the stream details you want viewers to see.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key shown by YouTube. Enter them in your encoder’s streaming destination settings. Treat the key like a password: anyone with it can send a feed to that stream. Do not publish it or include it in screenshots.
- Load the prepared audio and visuals in the encoder. Confirm the correct source is selected and that the encoder is sending to the intended YouTube event.
- Start the encoder and inspect YouTube Studio’s preview. Confirm that picture and sound arrive as expected before starting the public broadcast.
- Start the broadcast from the YouTube workflow when the preview is ready. Keep the Studio live dashboard available to monitor status and alerts.

Rehearse, monitor, and plan for interruptions
Do a private or unlisted rehearsal before relying on the stream. YouTube recommends testing the setup and checking the preview and accessibility. Listen through the player—not only at the encoder—for clipping, silence, uneven levels, and loop seams; inspect the image; and confirm that any local recording is actually being written. During operation, watch the Studio dashboard and respond to warnings. Testing reduces surprises but cannot guarantee uninterrupted 24/7 service.

- Network interruption: Check the connection and encoder status, then restart the feed if needed.
- Power or computer failure: Restore power and relaunch the encoder; a locally run setup depends on the equipment and connection staying available.
- Copyright interruption: Check Studio for a strike or other notice, then resolve the rights issue rather than repeatedly restarting the same material.
- Missing replay: Check whether the stream exceeded YouTube’s archive boundary and whether a local recording was saved.
Plan replay archives as separate sessions
YouTube may automatically archive live streams shorter than 12 hours. Streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. If a replay matters, schedule the broadcast as sessions shorter than 12 hours and retain a local backup; do not rely on one uninterrupted day-long stream to produce a complete archive. Treat monetization as conditional
Live-stream earnings require participation in the YouTube Partner Program and continued policy compliance. YouTube applies channel monetization policies to live streams; mass-produced, generic, or repetitive material may be ineligible. A static repeated ambience loop is therefore not a dependable monetization plan. Review YouTube’s channel monetization policies and YouTube Partner Program eligibility guidance in Studio; neither eligibility nor earnings are guaranteed.
