Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsYou can broadcast a prepared cartoon playlist around the clock by sending it to YouTube through an encoder—or by using a cloud service that loops uploaded videos. Before either setup, secure rights to every cartoon and audio track for continuous YouTube streaming in your target territories. YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches, and a 24/7 broadcast may not be archived as a complete replay. A simple loop also does not guarantee monetization.
Before you build the stream: clear rights and check eligibility
Get permission for the cartoons and audio
You are responsible for having the necessary rights to stream the cartoons and their audio, including applicable music rights. Check that the permission covers continuous live streaming on YouTube and the territories you intend to reach; confirm separately whether it covers an archive and monetization. YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions put responsibility for necessary rights on the content provider. Because no particular shows, owners, license terms, or territories are specified here, no specific cartoon can be declared cleared.
Keep license records. Ask the rights holder whether your channel must be allowlisted in Content ID. A license alone may not stop an interruption if the rights holder has not allowlisted your channel.
Check that your channel can go live
YouTube’s current live-streaming eligibility guidance says the channel must be verified, have no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days, and be operated by someone at least 16 years old. Confirm eligibility before preparing a long broadcast.

Set up a prepared playlist with an encoder
An encoder is the YouTube-supported route for sending prepared video rather than going live from a camera. YouTube describes mobile, webcam, and encoder options; a dedicated hardware encoder is not a requirement for a playlist. Software may suit a less demanding setup, while YouTube recommends professional-grade hardware encoders for higher-production-value events. Whichever you choose, confirm that its playlist or source workflow, output format, bitrate controls, monitoring, and recovery behavior fit your needs.
- Prepare a rights-cleared playlist. Assemble the episodes and audio you are authorized to stream. Check that the intended playback order and repeat behavior work before scheduling a continuous broadcast.
- Create the stream in YouTube Live Control Room. Set up the live event and obtain its stream URL and stream key. The key is the connection information the encoder uses to send the feed; treat it like a password and do not publish or share it. See YouTube’s live stream settings guide.
- Configure the encoder. Select the prepared playlist or video source, enter YouTube’s stream URL and key, and set the output parameters supported by your source and encoder. The cited YouTube guidance does not establish one required resolution, bitrate, or keyframe interval for every cartoon playlist, so use settings appropriate to your source and the encoder’s YouTube-compatible options rather than assuming one preset fits all.
- Check upload capacity. Add up the stream’s total outgoing bitrate and make sure it remains below the upload bandwidth actually available to the encoder. YouTube recommends leaving 20% headroom; other devices on a shared network can reduce the bandwidth available to the stream. See YouTube’s streaming tips.
- Preview before going public. Set up the encoder ahead of launch, inspect the Live Control Room preview, and verify the stream on the channel and watch pages and on mobile. Check picture and audio, then keep monitoring them while the broadcast runs.
- Start the feed and watch for interruptions. Confirm that the playlist advances and loops as intended. Keep the encoder and network available for the entire broadcast, and have a plan to restart the feed if it stops.
Understand copyright, monetization, and replay limits
Copyright checks can interrupt a live broadcast
YouTube says all live streams are scanned for third-party matches. If it detects content, it may replace the stream with a placeholder and warn you; if the content remains, it may interrupt or terminate the broadcast. This can happen with licensed material if the rights holder has not allowlisted your channel. Review YouTube’s copyright guidance for live streams and resolve allowlisting questions with the rights holder before launch.

Permission and monetization are separate
Having permission to use a cartoon does not by itself make a channel eligible for monetization. YouTube applies its monetization rules to live streams and assesses reused content at the channel level. Repurposed material without significant original commentary, substantive modification, or added value may make a channel ineligible. A straightforward cartoon playlist loop therefore carries monetization risk; YouTube’s channel monetization policies do not guarantee how a particular channel or stream will be assessed.
Do not rely on a complete YouTube replay
YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived, while a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. A 24/7 broadcast exceeds that threshold, so do not count on YouTube retaining the whole broadcast. YouTube recommends keeping a local archive backup; plan the recording, storage, and continuity yourself. See YouTube’s archive guidance.

Troubleshoot common failures
- The stream will not connect: Check that the event is ready in Live Control Room and that the encoder has the correct stream URL and key. If the key has been exposed, replace it rather than continuing to use a compromised credential.
- The stream buffers or drops: Check the encoder’s actual outgoing bitrate against available upload capacity, restore the recommended 20% headroom, and reduce competing network use. Shared connections may not provide the bandwidth your speed estimate suggests.
- The feed appears as a placeholder or stops: Check for a YouTube copyright warning or interruption. Confirm rights for the matched material and ask the rights holder about Content ID allowlisting; do not assume that a license alone prevents automated interruption.
- The playlist stops advancing or does not loop: Inspect the encoder’s source and repeat settings, then preview the sequence before restarting the public broadcast.
- The replay is incomplete or missing: A broadcast over 12 hours may not be captured. Use a planned local recording if retaining the full program matters.
- The channel cannot start a live stream: Recheck verification, the preceding 90-day restriction status, and the minimum-age requirement in YouTube’s eligibility guidance.
Or let it run in the cloud
For a prepared cartoon playlist, StreamNeo is the first cloud option to consider: upload the videos, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It loops uploaded videos from the cloud, so nothing has to stay on at home. It streams the files as uploaded, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot regardless of quality; it can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly: $9.99 per month. StreamNeo plays uploaded videos to YouTube; it does not stream from a camera. Rights clearance, YouTube copyright checks, monetization policy, and the 12-hour archive limitation still apply.
