How to Stream Assamese Lofi Music 24/7 on YouTube From a Cloud VPS

A practical guide to running an Assamese lofi YouTube livestream from a cloud VPS, with music-rights checks, RTMPS setup, monitoring, archive limits and monetization caveats.

You can stream Assamese lofi music around the clock by running an encoder on a continuously available cloud VPS and sending its output to YouTube Live over RTMPS. Before you configure the server, clear the rights for every recording and confirm how the rights holder handles Content ID: a VPS and a valid music license alone do not guarantee that YouTube will leave the broadcast uninterrupted.

What you need before you start

  • A YouTube channel with access to YouTube Live and a stream URL and key from its Live Control Room, or equivalent ingest details obtained through YouTube’s Live Streaming API. Keep the key private; anyone with it may be able to send a broadcast to your stream. YouTube describes the stream and its ingest details in its LiveStreams documentation.
  • A cloud VPS with a network connection and enough capacity to run your chosen encoder continuously. The exact provider, region, server size, operating system and encoder settings depend on your media and software; the available YouTube guidance does not establish a universally suitable VPS specification.
  • Audio recordings and any visuals you have permission to use in a public livestream, plus permission for any replay or archive you intend to keep.
  • A plan for monitoring the feed, responding to an encoder or network failure, and handling YouTube’s archive limitations.

Clear the Assamese lofi music rights first

Do not assume a track is free to broadcast because it is Assamese, lofi, available online, or described as royalty-free by an uploader. You need to check the rights for the specific composition and sound recording. YouTube’s livestream terms say creators must have the necessary rights for their live content, including music licensing rights.

Check each recording and its permitted uses

For each track, identify the writers or composition owners, performers, sound-recording owner and any administrator or label with relevant rights. Confirm in writing that your channel may broadcast the recording live in the territories you intend to serve. If you want YouTube to retain or make an archive available, also confirm that the permission covers that use, its territory and its duration. Keep the permission and track details together so you can respond if a rights question arises.

Ask about Content ID allowlisting

YouTube scans livestreams for third-party content. A match can interrupt or terminate a live broadcast, and YouTube warns that a creator may need to have the channel added to a rights holder’s Content ID allowlist even when the music is licensed. Ask the licensor or rights administrator whether allowlisting is required and get the relevant channel added before launch. See YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams.

Elebase USB to USB C Adapter for iPhone 18 Pro Max,USBC Car Charger Adapter
  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
  • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

Set up YouTube Live and the VPS encoder

  1. Prepare the media. Assemble the tracks and any visual material you are authorized to use. Decide whether the stream will play one recording, a playlist, or a longer sequence. Verify the media in the encoder you choose before scheduling a public broadcast.
  2. Create the live stream in YouTube. Open YouTube’s Live Control Room and create or select the stream you intend to use. Copy its server URL and stream key into the encoder’s YouTube or custom-ingest settings. If you are integrating through the API instead, YouTube represents ingest configuration as a liveStream resource.
  3. Protect the stream key. Treat it as a credential: do not publish it, include it in public screenshots, or store it in a public script or repository. If it is exposed, replace or reset it in YouTube and update the encoder with the new key.
  4. Run the encoder on the VPS. The encoder must keep producing the audiovisual feed and sending it to YouTube for the stream to remain live. Configure your chosen software to start the intended media and to reconnect or restart after a process or network failure. The precise service manager, command, VPS size and encoder configuration depend on the software and workload; YouTube’s cited guidance does not validate a specific Linux image, FFmpeg or OBS command, audio bitrate, video bitrate, or visual-loop setup.
  5. Use RTMPS ingest where supported. For this workflow, YouTube documents RTMPS as encrypted RTMP ingest. Its RTMPS instructions describe the endpoint requirements; API clients connect over TLS on port 443 and must handle the appropriate SNI hostname. Use the endpoint and stream path YouTube supplies rather than guessing or reusing an address from another stream. See Delivering Live YouTube Content via RTMPS.
  6. Start privately or unlisted and inspect the preview. Confirm that the right stream is selected, the audio is present and correctly balanced, the visual feed appears as intended, and YouTube reports a healthy incoming stream before making it public. YouTube recommends testing and monitoring the stream rather than assuming a successful encoder connection means the viewer-facing feed is good. Its streaming tips also advise leaving upload-bandwidth headroom.

RTMPS is a sensible default for ordinary low-latency streaming when your encoder supports it. YouTube’s ingestion protocol comparison describes different trade-offs: HLS and DASH serve other codec or resolution needs and have higher latency. Choose a protocol your encoder and intended output support; do not change ingest protocol merely to chase lower latency for a continuous music stream.

Keep the broadcast running and plan for archives

A cloud VPS moves the encoder off your home computer, so a local laptop shutdown or home power interruption need not stop the process. It does not remove the VPS provider, network path or encoder as possible failure points. Monitor both the VPS process and YouTube’s incoming-stream health, and decide in advance who will respond if the encoder exits, the VPS loses connectivity, or YouTube stops receiving the feed. The YouTube LiveStreams resource exposes ingest details and health information for API workflows.

Do not rely on YouTube to create a complete archive from a single uninterrupted 24/7 session. YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, while streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all; shorter streams are not guaranteed to be archived. If YouTube’s archive matters, consider ending and starting separate sessions before they reach 12 hours, and keep a local recording backup. See YouTube’s archive guidance.

Monetization is a separate decision

Clearing music rights is necessary for a lawful, policy-compliant broadcast, but it does not guarantee YouTube Partner Program acceptance or monetization. YouTube’s channel monetization policies apply to livestreams and say repetitive or mass-produced content may be considered inauthentic and ineligible. A minimally changed loop should not be presented as a guaranteed monetization strategy; YouTube reviews channel content under its policies.
