You can broadcast Navratri bhajans around the clock, but a YouTube playlist alone cannot create a live stream. You need rights-cleared recordings and visuals, an eligible YouTube channel, and an encoder or cloud playout service that continuously sends the playlist as a live audio/video feed. For an uninterrupted broadcast, arrange monitoring and recovery; for a complete replay, do not rely on one stream lasting more than 12 hours.
What you need for a 24/7 bhajan broadcast
- A YouTube channel that is eligible to stream live.
- Bhajan recordings and visuals you have permission to broadcast.
- A playback-and-encoding method: software on an always-on computer, a standalone hardware encoder, or a cloud playout service.
- The stream URL and stream key from YouTube Studio.
- A plan to monitor the broadcast, recover from interruptions, and preserve a replay if needed.
The playlist determines what plays and in what order. The encoder or managed playout workflow turns those items into a continuous live feed for YouTube.
Choose how to keep the playlist playing
Software encoder on a computer
This suits creators who already have a capable computer and want control over the playback and visual layout. Configure the software to play the authorized tracks in sequence and send the resulting feed to YouTube. The computer, encoder process, power, and network must remain available, and someone should monitor them. No new hardware is necessarily required.
Standalone hardware encoder
A dedicated encoder can suit a separate production setup, but it is optional. Before buying one, check its supported inputs and codecs, compatibility with the intended playback workflow, and recovery behavior. A hardware encoder still needs a source of the bhajan playlist and a connection to YouTube; no particular model is established here as suitable.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Cloud playout
A cloud service can run uploaded videos remotely rather than depending on a computer at home. Check its current YouTube integration, looping controls, storage, recovery behavior, availability, pricing, and terms before choosing it. You remain responsible for having rights to the media you upload and broadcast.
Prepare the playlist and clear music rights
Do not assume a devotional song, an existing YouTube playlist, a music subscription, an old recording, or a “copyright free” label gives you permission to rebroadcast a particular recording. Rights can differ between the sound recording and the underlying composition, and may depend on territory and use. No specific Navratri bhajan recording is cleared by this guide.

Keep a rights log for every item in the rotation. Record the title, recording owner, relevant composition or publishing contact, permission scope and territory, dates, and any confirmation that your channel has been added to the applicable Content ID allowlist.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches. YouTube Help warns: “If your channel isn’t added to their allowlist, your live stream can be interrupted even if you’ve licensed the content.” If you use licensed third-party music, ask the rights owner to allowlist your channel through Content ID and coordinate with the label or distributor. A license or receipt by itself does not guarantee that an automated match will not interrupt the stream. See YouTube’s live-streaming and copyright guidance.

Enable live streaming before the festival
YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days; the person streaming must be at least 16. First-time access can take up to 24 hours to become available, so verify the channel and enable live streaming well before the planned launch. Check the current eligibility details in YouTube Help’s live-streaming eligibility instructions. YouTube for Artists also advises first-time creators to verify and enable streaming at least 24 hours ahead.
Create, connect, and test the broadcast
- Build and test the media rotation. Put the authorized recordings and visuals in the intended order, confirm that playback repeats as expected, and make sure the audiovisual feed does not unintentionally go blank.
- Create or schedule the stream in YouTube Studio. Open Live Control Room and create the broadcast. For a first test, choose an unlisted stream so you can check the workflow without making the test public.
- Copy the stream details from Studio. Copy the server URL and stream key shown for that broadcast into the matching fields in your encoder or playout service. Treat the stream key like a password; anyone who obtains it may be able to send a feed to your stream.
- Start sending the feed. Start playback and encoding, then wait for the preview in Live Control Room. Confirm that the image appears and the bhajan audio is audible before you start the public broadcast.
- Go live and keep watch. Start the broadcast in the control room when the preview is ready. YouTube recommends testing and continuously monitoring audio and video quality. Check the encoder status, network, power, player, and any local recording throughout the run.
Follow the current instructions and settings shown in YouTube Studio and in your chosen encoder: available options and labels can change. YouTube describes both software encoders and standalone hardware encoders in its encoder setup guidance.

Plan for interruptions and complete replays
A 24/7 stream is not self-maintaining just because it has a playlist. Decide who or what will detect a lost connection, stopped encoder, power failure, or YouTube interruption, and how the feed will be restarted. YouTube recommends making a local archive as a backup.
YouTube automatically archives streams under 12 hours; a stream longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. If a complete replay matters, record locally and test that recording workflow, or schedule shorter broadcasts and verify each archive. A single continuous destination and a dependable complete replay may require different plans.

Technical option: YouTube HLS ingestion
Most creators should use the standard stream URL and key workflow supported by their encoder and Live Control Room. YouTube also documents HLS ingestion for encoder vendors. That path requires muxed audio and video in M2TS, supports H.264 or HEVC video with AAC audio, and uses ordered media playlists and segments for continuous ingestion. It is a technical encoder protocol, not a consumer YouTube playlist that can act as a livestream encoder. Follow YouTube’s HLS ingestion documentation only if your chosen encoder supports that workflow.
Troubleshooting common problems
- Live streaming is unavailable: Verify the channel, enable live access in advance, check that there is no live-stream restriction in the preceding 90 days, and confirm the streamer meets YouTube’s age requirement. First-time enablement may take up to 24 hours.
- The stream does not appear in the preview: Confirm that the encoder is running, that the server URL and stream key match the broadcast in Studio, and that the encoder is sending a feed. Keep the key private; if it may have been exposed, replace it in Studio and update the encoder.
- The feed stops or drops: Check power, network stability, playback, and encoder status. Use a workflow with a clear recovery procedure and monitor the YouTube player; do not assume that looping media alone restarts a failed live connection.
- YouTube interrupts the stream over music: Treat this as a rights and matching issue, not merely an encoder fault. Confirm permission for the specific recording and composition as applicable, then ask the owner or distributor to allowlist the channel through Content ID.
- The archive is missing or incomplete: A stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured. Keep a tested local recording or use shorter scheduled broadcasts if complete replay files are important.
- Audio or visuals are missing or unsuitable: Check the encoder’s active audio/video sources and preview the full rotation, including transitions and repeat points, before the public launch.
