To stream recorded Tamil TNPSC lessons continuously on YouTube, enable live streaming on a verified channel, create a stream in YouTube Live Control Room, and send your lesson playlist through an encoder—or use a cloud service that loops uploaded videos. Before broadcasting, test the video, audio, connection and recovery plan, and confirm you have permission to rebroadcast every recording and included asset.

Before you start: enable live streaming and check your rights

Your YouTube channel must be verified and free of live-streaming restrictions from the preceding 90 days. First-time live-stream activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before your planned start. See YouTube’s live-streaming setup requirements.

Check who owns each TNPSC lesson recording. Being able to access a recording—or having permission to use it in a classroom—does not by itself establish the right to rebroadcast it publicly. Confirm rights to the lesson video, slides, images, music and any other material in the recording. YouTube scans live streams for third-party content and can interrupt or terminate a stream. If you have a licence for third-party material, its owner may need to add your channel to their Content ID allowlist. Read YouTube’s copyright guidance and YouTube’s Terms of Service.

Set up a YouTube live stream

  1. Open Live Control Room. In YouTube Studio, use Create > Go live. Create a new stream or schedule one for later, then enter its title, description, audience setting and other details.
  2. Get the connection details. In the stream settings, copy the server URL and stream key. The key routes your encoder’s feed to the correct YouTube stream; treat it like a password. Do not share it publicly. If it is exposed, reset it in Live Control Room and update your encoder.
  3. Connect an encoder. If your encoder offers YouTube sign-in or a YouTube destination, follow its current instructions. Otherwise choose a custom RTMP/RTMPS destination and enter YouTube’s server URL and stream key. Prefer RTMPS when available. YouTube explains the connection process in its encoder guide.
  4. Queue the lesson recordings. Arrange the files in the encoder’s playlist or media sequence, then set the playlist to repeat if you want the lessons to cycle. Queue controls differ between encoder applications, so follow the current documentation for the one you choose. Confirm that the next file starts cleanly and that the sequence does not stop after the final lesson.
  5. Preview before going live. Start the encoder and check the Live Control Room preview for picture, sound and correct stream destination. When the preview is ready, start the broadcast from the encoder and, if prompted, confirm the stream in Live Control Room.

Choose encoder settings that fit the connection

YouTube’s recommended encoder settings include H.264, H.265 or AV1 video; AAC or MP3 audio; constant bitrate encoding; frame rates up to 60 fps; and a two-second keyframe interval, which should not exceed four seconds. Use settings your encoder and connection can sustain. YouTube transcodes incoming live video into different output formats, so sending a higher resolution does not mean every viewer will receive it at that resolution.

Elebase USB to USB C Adapter for iPhone 18 Pro Max,USBC Car Charger Adapter
  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

Set resolution and bitrate based on the upload capacity available while streaming, not just the nominal speed of your internet plan. YouTube recommends leaving about 20% of upload bandwidth unused as headroom. For example, if the connection can reliably upload at 10 Mbps under the conditions when you plan to broadcast, reserve roughly 2 Mbps and keep the stream’s total upload demand within the remaining capacity. Other devices and traffic on the same connection can reduce what is available.

  • Use a representative lesson to test: include a slide change, moving diagrams or handwriting, and spoken audio.
  • Listen for clipping, low volume, silence between files and audio that drifts out of sync.
  • Check stream health in Live Control Room and watch for warnings or dropped frames.
  • Prefer a wired connection where practical, and avoid large uploads or other bandwidth-heavy activity during the broadcast.

YouTube’s streaming tips warn that disruptions can break a stream. A successful preview is useful, but it does not guarantee the connection will remain stable for a long broadcast.

Keep a DIY stream running and plan for interruptions

With a local encoder, the computer, encoder application and internet connection must remain available for playback to continue. Disable sleep and automatic shutdown, keep the computer powered, and ensure the encoder is set to repeat the playlist. Monitor the broadcast regularly; a computer restart, power cut, application crash or lost connection can stop the feed. Decide in advance who will check it and how they will restart the encoder and reconnect using the same stream setup.

Do not treat a continuous live stream as an unlimited archive. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That does not promise a single uninterrupted archive for a broadcast that runs indefinitely. If you need recordings, keep the original lesson files and plan separate archive or recording sessions rather than relying on one long live archive. See the YouTube encoder guide.

Troubleshooting common problems

  • You cannot start a live stream: confirm the channel is verified, has no live-streaming restriction from the preceding 90 days, and has completed live-stream activation. First activation may take up to 24 hours.
  • YouTube receives no signal: check that the encoder is running, the server URL is correct, and the stream key belongs to the intended stream. Re-copy the key from Live Control Room if needed; never post it publicly.
  • The stream buffers or drops frames: reduce bitrate or resolution, check for competing upload traffic, and leave the recommended upload-bandwidth headroom. Check the encoder and Live Control Room stream-health indicators.
  • There is no audio or it sounds wrong: verify the encoder’s audio input and AAC or MP3 configuration, then preview a representative file. Check the original recording too; a silent source file will remain silent on stream.
  • The broadcast stops after a lesson or playlist: check that the media sequence contains every intended file and that repeat/loop is enabled. Test the transition from the last lesson back to the first before leaving the stream unattended.
  • YouTube interrupts the stream: review any copyright or policy notice in Live Control Room. Remove or replace material you are not authorized to use; for licensed third-party content, ask the owner whether channel allowlisting is required.

Keep rights and viewer expectations clear

Only rebroadcast lessons that you own or are authorized to use in a public YouTube live stream. Keep a record of permissions and licences, including any conditions on attribution, territories, duration or monetization. A playlist of recorded lessons is not a substitute for original instruction or a guarantee of monetization; YouTube’s review and policy decisions depend on the channel and content.
