One free scan finds every outdated or missing driver and matches the right update for your exact hardware.Free scan · exact hardware matchTo stream a playlist of Telugu old-song video files around the clock, send the files through a live encoder to YouTube Live. You can run that encoder on a computer with OBS, or use a cloud playout service that runs remotely. Before either route, confirm that you have permission to livestream every song and video: owning a file or subscription does not by itself grant broadcast rights.
How a prerecorded playlist becomes a YouTube livestream
YouTube receives a live feed from an encoder; it does not turn a folder of video files into a continuous livestream by itself. The encoder plays or manages the playlist and sends the resulting stream to YouTube. YouTube’s HLS ingestion documentation describes an encoder-based ingest route. OBS is one local encoder option, while cloud playout services run the encoder remotely.
The exact loop controls depend on the playback software or service. YouTube’s official materials do not provide a dedicated procedure for looping local video files continuously, so confirm that your chosen playout setup supports unattended looping and know how to restart it if it stops.
Check song and video rights before setting up
Old recordings are not automatically free to rebroadcast. The song, the sound recording, and the video may have separate rights holders, and permission to listen to or download a file may not include permission to livestream it. Confirm that your rights or license cover live streaming, the territories where viewers may watch, and any recording or archive you plan to leave on YouTube.

YouTube says in its Copyright issues with live streams guidance that all live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content. If YouTube detects a match, it may replace the stream with a placeholder image or temporarily interrupt or terminate the broadcast. The same guidance warns that a stream can be interrupted even when you have licensed the material if the channel is not on the rights holder’s Content ID allowlist. Ask the rights holder about allowlisting your channel; a license alone does not guarantee uninterrupted playback.
If you choose to archive the livestream, YouTube says the archived video may receive a Content ID claim after the stream ends. Rights and claims depend on the specific content and permissions; the platform guidance is not a legal determination for your playlist.

Set up a local playlist broadcast with OBS
OBS Studio is free, open-source software for streaming and recording, according to its official streaming guidance. This route keeps playback and encoding on your own computer, so that computer, its power, and its internet connection need to remain available for the broadcast.
- Make sure your channel can go live. Open YouTube Studio and create or schedule a live broadcast using the current Live workflow. Locate the stream key and ingest details shown for the broadcast. YouTube’s current interface can change, so verify the labels and instructions displayed in your Studio account.
- Configure OBS to send the feed. In OBS, open Settings > Stream, choose YouTube or the appropriate YouTube ingest option, and enter the stream key as prompted. Treat the key like a password: do not publish it or share it with anyone who should not control the broadcast.
- Add and arrange the video files. Add the files as media sources or use a playlist-capable playback method supported by your OBS setup. Configure the playback method to advance through the files and loop the sequence if your chosen method supports it. Test the transition between files; the exact source and loop controls vary by software and version.
- Match the output to a sustainable connection. In OBS, use the Auto-Configuration Wizard as a starting point, then check the streaming guidance for output settings appropriate to your connection and content. There is no verified universal bitrate or upload-speed threshold for every setup. Avoid selecting settings your sustained upload connection cannot maintain.
- Start the YouTube broadcast and monitor it. Start streaming from OBS and confirm in YouTube Studio that the incoming feed appears as expected before making it public. Check playback, audio, transitions, and stream health rather than assuming a successful encoder connection means the entire playlist is working.
OBS’s troubleshooting guidance explains that a rising dropped-frame counter and a yellow or red connection indicator point to an unstable connection or one that cannot sustain the selected bitrate. Its streaming help page recommends the Auto-Configuration Wizard for basic setup and provides troubleshooting resources. No particular computer, router, bitrate, or connection guarantees uninterrupted 24/7 operation.

Choose between local and cloud playout
| Consideration | Local encoder, such as OBS | Cloud playout |
|---|---|---|
| Where the encoder runs | On your computer. | On provider-operated cloud infrastructure; verify the provider’s current service and terms. |
| What must remain available | Your computer, power, and home upload connection need to carry the broadcast. | The provider’s cloud service and your account/configuration. This describes the vendor model, not an independently verified reliability result. |
| Playlist control | You manage file playback and stream settings on your computer; looping behavior depends on your software setup. | Some providers describe uploading media and arranging playlists remotely; features differ, so confirm the current service details. |
| Cost and reliability evidence | Depends on your existing equipment and connection; no comparative operating-cost or uptime figure is established here. | Check current prices, limits, support, and any uptime commitment directly with the provider; no comparative price or independently measured reliability figure is established here. |
Whichever route you use, plan for more than initial setup: someone needs to notice interruptions, restore the feed, maintain the playlist, and handle rights claims. A cloud provider may offer automatic reconnection, but treat that as a provider feature claim and verify its scope rather than assuming it eliminates all interruptions.

Troubleshoot the most likely interruptions
- YouTube does not show an incoming feed: Check that the broadcast is set up in YouTube Studio, the encoder is connected to the intended ingest, and the correct stream key was entered. If you exposed the key, replace it in Studio and update the encoder.
- OBS reports dropped frames or a poor connection indicator: OBS identifies these as signs that the connection is unstable or cannot sustain the selected bitrate. Check connection stability and reduce the output demand in line with OBS guidance; do not assume that a brief successful test proves a connection will hold continuously.
- The stream stops at a file boundary or fails to repeat: Check the playback source or playlist method’s loop and advance behavior. Since loop controls are software-specific, test the complete sequence—including transitions—before relying on unattended playout.
- YouTube interrupts or replaces the stream: Check YouTube Studio for copyright notices or live restrictions. Confirm rights for the matched material and ask the rights holder whether your channel can be added to its Content ID allowlist.
- The livestream runs, but the archive gets a claim: YouTube notes that an archived livestream may receive a Content ID claim after it ends. Review the claim and the permissions for the content; an uninterrupted live broadcast does not establish archive rights.
- The broadcast needs attention while unattended: Decide in advance who will monitor it and how the feed will be restored. Remote playout can remove the home PC from the broadcast path, but service-specific recovery behavior and availability should be checked with the provider.
