Press Shift+Enter to open all chat in VALORANT, according to commonly reported player guidance. Riot’s available official materials do not confirm this shortcut for normal matches, so treat it as the usual community-reported control—not a guaranteed keybinding.
How to open all chat
- During a match, press Shift+Enter to open the all-chat message box.
- Type your message and press Enter to send it.
Players commonly describe Enter as opening team chat and Shift+Enter as opening all chat. Riot identifies all, team, and party as separate chat channels in its Patch Notes 1.0, but that 2020 release does not document the normal-match shortcut. The shortcut is supported by player discussion; an independent guide also notes the lack of an official Riot reference for the key or switch command. Keybindings or behavior may differ by configuration or platform.
If Shift+Enter does not work
Check the chat channel selector
Open the chat box and look for a visible channel selector in the client. If one is available, use it to choose all chat. This is a practical fallback; the Riot materials cited here do not document a specific selector procedure.
Check whether chat is restricted
A communication restriction can block access to VALORANT text or voice chat, so a shortcut that appears not to work may not be a keybinding problem. Riot says restriction duration can vary with severity, account history, and region; see its Communication Restrictions and Audio Retention support page.
