Roblox deprecated its historical last-online timestamp endpoint effective November 15, 2024, and says it no longer supports it. You may be able to see whether someone is online now or which experience they are playing, depending on their visibility settings—but that is different from seeing when they were last online.
Can you see when someone was last online on Roblox?
No supported general lookup shows the date or time of another user’s last Roblox session. In an announcement dated October 28, 2024, Roblox said it would deprecate the last-online endpoint effective November 15, 2024: “We will no longer support this endpoint.” Read Roblox’s announcement about changes to presence APIs.
That means an old guide, profile lookup, or API example that promises an exact historical timestamp may describe a feature Roblox no longer supports. Roblox’s profile and privacy settings cover current presence and visibility; they do not provide a general historical last-online time.
What Roblox presence information can you see?
Roblox distinguishes current online status, the experience someone is playing now, activity updates, and a historical last-online timestamp. They are not interchangeable:

Roblox’s Online Status and Visibility support page explains that people outside a user’s chosen audience will see them as offline on their profile or Friends list. So an offline label does not tell you when they last played, and it does not prove they have stopped using Roblox. The visibility options available may vary by age and region.
How to check your own Roblox visibility settings
- Open Settings. On desktop, select the gear icon. On mobile, select More, then Settings.
- Go to Privacy & content restrictions → Visibility & private servers → Visibility.
- Review Online Status. Choose the audience you want to be able to see your current status. Options may differ depending on your age and region.
- Review the other controls separately. Show current experience controls who can see what you are playing; Share activity updates governs activity updates to friends. Neither setting is a historical last-online timestamp.
These controls manage your own visibility. They do not let you retrieve another person’s past login time.

Do third-party sites, extensions, or games show the old timestamp?
Roblox’s announcement and current visibility documentation do not verify third-party services that claim to restore an exact last-online time. Treat such claims as unsupported, and do not share your account credentials or try to bypass another user’s privacy settings to obtain presence information.
There is a developer-facing detail that can cause confusion: Roblox Creator Hub documents a LastOnline field in online-friend data returned by GetFriendsOnlineAsync. That reference concerns a particular developer method and its online-friend data; it does not reinstate the discontinued general last-online endpoint. See the Roblox Creator Hub Player reference.

Why Roblox shows someone as offline
The person may be offline, but the label alone cannot establish that. Roblox says viewers outside the user’s selected Online Status audience see the user as offline. Without a supported historical timestamp, you cannot use that display to determine the last time they played or to conclude an account is abandoned.
