Yes—if the video is a file in Google Drive, OneStream Live documents a direct route: select it from Cloud Storage in its Pre-recorded Stream workflow, set the loop count, choose a destination such as YouTube, add stream details, and schedule the broadcast. If you use another service, check whether it can select files from Drive: a Drive file and a YouTube watch-page link are different inputs, and not every service documents direct Drive import.
Before you start: check the file, destination and rights
- Make sure you have a video file in Drive. The documented OneStream workflow selects a file from Google Drive Cloud Storage. A YouTube URL is not the same thing as a transferable video file, and the cited workflow does not establish that a watch-page link can be imported as one. OneStream Live Help Center
- Confirm you have permission to stream the content. Make sure you hold the necessary rights or licenses for the video, music and other included material. DIKSHA’s creator workflow validates standard YouTube credits and licenses; that is a platform-specific check, not a complete statement of YouTube law or a substitute for checking your own rights. DIKSHA creator instructions
- Check file compatibility and service limits. Google Drive lists several supported video formats but cautions that not every format works on every device. The cited OneStream instructions do not state all plan, file-size or stream limits, so confirm the current requirements for your account before scheduling.
How to send a Google Drive video to OneStream Live and loop it
OneStream Live’s Help Center documents this sequence for a pre-recorded broadcast and says the workflow supports up to 60 loops. The page was updated September 21, 2026. Labels can vary by app version, so use the web workflow labels below as the documented path.
- Open the pre-recorded stream workflow. In OneStream Live, choose Pre-recorded Stream, then Add Videos.
- Select the Drive file. Choose Cloud Storage, select Google Drive, connect or authorize the account if prompted, then choose the video file. Select the actual file, not a copied YouTube watch URL.
- Set the loop count. Choose how many times the video should repeat, up to the documented maximum of 60 loops for this workflow. OneStream describes the video playing repeatedly during a single broadcast.
- Choose the destination. Select the social destination for the broadcast and provide the stream details requested in the app. Confirm you have access to the destination account and that the intended YouTube channel is selected.
- Schedule and verify. Set the broadcast schedule and review the destination, video and stream details before confirming. The cited help page documents scheduling but does not specify all account-plan requirements or every service limit.
OneStream’s instructions also list Cloud Storage as a source in its mobile workflow. For its complete current directions, see How to Loop a Pre-recorded Stream?
If you need to put a video into Google Drive first
On a computer, open Google Drive and choose New → File upload, then select the video file. Drive also lets you copy a link from the Share menu, but a link is not the same as selecting the video through a service’s Cloud Storage picker. Google lists WebM, MPEG4/3GPP/MOV, AVI, MPEGPS, WMV, FLV, MTS and OGG among supported formats. Compatibility may still vary by device and by the streaming service.

Google says video files can use up to 5 TB of storage if that much capacity has been purchased; otherwise they are limited by available account storage. Drive’s maximum playback resolution is 1920 × 1080. That is a Drive playback limit—not a statement of the maximum resolution a streaming service can accept. See Google Drive Help: Store & play video in Google Drive.
Which cloud-loop service fits a Drive-to-YouTube workflow?
| Service | What the cited instructions establish | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo | StreamNeo runs uploaded videos as a 24/7 YouTube stream from the cloud. Its workflow is to upload a recording or build a playlist, add the YouTube stream key once, then go live. This is a file-upload workflow; direct Google Drive selection is not established. | Download the Drive file and upload it to StreamNeo if you want to use it there. Check that it fits your available storage and is suitable for your channel. |
| OneStream Live | Its documented pre-recorded workflow explicitly selects a video from Google Drive Cloud Storage, supports up to 60 loops and includes scheduling. | The cited instructions do not state all plan, file-size or stream limits. Confirm the current requirements for your account and destination. |
| GoLive India | Its page describes continuous cloud broadcasts to YouTube, pre-recorded video scheduling and looping. The cited steps refer to a local-device upload, a video link or a camera. | The cited page does not confirm direct Google Drive import. Ask the provider whether Drive file selection or link-fetching is supported before relying on it. |
For a file that must be selected straight from Google Drive, OneStream Live is the clearest documented match among these workflows. GoLive India may suit a cloud-looping workflow, but its cited page does not verify Drive import. The cited pages do not establish a complete pricing or plan comparison.

Or let it run in the cloud
For a YouTube-only cloud loop without keeping a computer running, StreamNeo’s workflow is: upload the video, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. A Drive-stored file would need to be downloaded and uploaded; direct Drive import is not established. The stream runs from the cloud, so nothing has to stay on at home. Uploaded video plays as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot; StreamNeo does not re-encode it or offer quality tiers. It can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. Each slot includes 10 GB of storage, pooled across your active slots, and supports 24/7 looping and playlists.
The first day is free with no card, once per account. The monthly option is $9.99 per month. UPI and cards are available in India; card checkout is available worldwide. Learn more at StreamNeo, or start the free day.

Troubleshooting common transfer and playback issues
- The Drive file does not appear. Confirm you selected Cloud Storage and Google Drive, and that the account you authorized can access the file. If it still does not appear, check the provider’s current import requirements or use a workflow that accepts a local upload.
- You pasted a YouTube link but the service asks for a file. A watch-page URL is not a Drive video file. Use the actual file in Drive with the documented Cloud Storage picker, or follow the service’s supported upload workflow. Do not assume a link will be fetched or converted.
- The video will not play or looks different in Drive. Check the file format against the destination service’s requirements. Drive lists multiple formats but notes device compatibility can vary; its playback resolution is capped at 1920 × 1080, which does not define the streaming service’s ingest limit.
- The broadcast will not schedule or reach the intended YouTube channel. Recheck the selected destination, account access and stream details. The cited instructions do not enumerate every account or plan requirement, so confirm those with the service before relying on a scheduled broadcast.
- You are unsure whether you can rebroadcast the video. Verify the rights and licenses for all content in the file, including music and other included material, before scheduling. Attribution or credits alone do not necessarily establish permission.
