The standard route is the Novigrad quest Gwent: Big City Players: defeat Vimme Vivaldi, Marquise Serenity and Sigismund Dijkstra, then follow the quest marker to the merchant for the Ciri card.
Follow the Gwent: Big City Players quest
The quest takes Geralt through a sequence of Novigrad opponents and then points to the player who awards Ciri’s card. Start or track Gwent: Big City Players; Prima Games says to collect the notices at the Hierarch Square notice board and challenge banker Vimme Vivaldi nearby.
- Beat Vimme Vivaldi. Find him at his bank in Hierarch Square.
- Beat Marquise Serenity. Go to the Passiflora and challenge her.
- Beat Sigismund Dijkstra. Find him at the bathhouse. He is also referred to as Sigi Reuven in the quest reference.
- Find the Scoia’tael merchant. Follow the quest marker southwest of Novigrad. Prima Games places him in the woods west of Farcorners.
- Win the merchant’s Gwent match. The merchant—not Dijkstra—awards the Ciri card.
If Dijkstra is unavailable
Dijkstra’s story role can affect whether he is available for Gwent. Prima Games advises checking your story-quest progress: during A Deadly Plot, he may be at the Passiflora, and the guide recommends completing that quest before trying to play him.
The quest journal may also temporarily show Gwent: Big City Players as complete if you beat Vivaldi and Serenity before meeting Dijkstra in the main story. The quest reference says it reopens at the appropriate story point.

If the quest skips the merchant
If the quest disappears or completes without sending you to the final player, go to the merchant southwest of Novigrad and check whether he still offers a Gwent challenge. Prima Games and Gwent Checklist describe this as a way to try for Ciri’s card even after a quest-state or story-progression issue; access is not guaranteed for every save state. Gwent Checklist notes that quest XP may be missed if you challenge the merchant separately.

The reward’s full in-game name is Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon. The Official Witcher Wiki lists it as a neutral, 15-strength Hero card in the close-combat row. Prima Games says it can be used in any of the four faction decks and is unaffected by special cards or abilities.
