Which PlayStation outfits are available?
Here, “PlayStation outfits” means the franchise-inspired armor appearances reported as Most Wanted rewards—not every armor set, dye, mask or edition bonus in the game. Current reporting names four crossover themes:

The available public guidance does not establish the exact in-game names for every appearance or whether each is a complete armor set, dye or other variant. Use the current Most Wanted reward screen to confirm how each item is classified.
How to unlock the crossover outfits
- Update the game. Install patch v2.0 or later and check that Most Wanted is available on your local build.
- Enter Most Wanted and play runs. PlayStation describes runs as the route to unlockable rewards. A report quoting Sucker Punch’s announcement gives the broad instruction: “Unlock them by playing Ghost of Yōtei: Most Wanted starting October 1.”
- Check each item’s requirement. Open the mode’s reward or vendor screens and follow the condition shown for the specific crossover appearance. The reviewed published guidance does not give a verified per-item bounty, number of runs or currency price.
Do not assume one run, a particular boss, or completing every bounty is enough unless your current game shows that requirement. Community accounts differ or are vague on those specifics, so the in-game condition is the practical guide.

- Choose your weapon, battle Atsu's opponents as you see fit, with levelled-up dual katanas, odachi, kusarigama and other new weapons.
When does Most Wanted become available?
PlayStation announced patch v2.0 and the new content modes for October 1, 2026 globally, with October 2 availability in some territories, including parts of Asia, Australia and New Zealand. The reported crossover unlock instruction also starts October 1. If the mode or rewards are missing, confirm that the update is installed and account for your territory’s rollout before checking the Most Wanted rewards again.
Do not confuse crossover outfits with other bonus gear
Digital Deluxe bonuses
PlayStation’s Digital Deluxe announcement lists The Snake armor set and an alternate dye for the starting armor, along with horse and saddle cosmetics, a charm, a gold Sword Kit and early Traveler’s Maps. Those are edition bonuses, not the four newer crossover themes. Buying an edition should not be treated as confirmation that it automatically unlocks all four Most Wanted appearances.

Sakai Armor early access
A September 2026 announcement said people who preordered the Complete Edition or its upgrade by September 30 received early access to Sakai Armor on October 1 without unlocking it through Most Wanted. That was a time-limited early-unlock condition; the eligibility window had passed by October 2026.
New Game+ cosmetics
PlayStation says New Game+ unlocks after the main story and introduces Ghost Flowers, which can be exchanged with a vendor for more than 30 cosmetics, including armor sets and weapon dyes. That is a separate reward system; do not assume its currency or catalog applies to Most Wanted crossover rewards unless the item-specific screen confirms it.

What to check if an outfit is missing
- Make sure the game is on patch v2.0 or later.
- Confirm Most Wanted has rolled out for your territory and is available in your build.
- Inspect the mode’s reward and vendor screens for the exact requirement attached to that appearance.
- Continue playing Most Wanted if the item remains locked, then check its status again; published instructions do not establish a universal run count or cost.
