In a Roblox wallhop practice experience, line your character’s feet up with the wall’s marked line, turn about 90 degrees, keep moving into the wall, and flick the camera in the same direction as the turn. That sequence comes from a specific practice game, not a universal Roblox rule; timing and controls can vary by experience.
How to do the basic wallhop sequence
- Approach the wall. If the experience marks a starting line, stop when your character’s feet reach it.
- Turn sideways. Rotate your character about 90 degrees to the left or right.
- Keep moving into the wall. Continue holding the movement direction toward it while you work on the camera input.
- Flick the camera the same way you turned. For example, if you turned left, flick the camera left. The Wall Hop Practice experience describes this as the sequence that makes the character pop up the wall. (Wall Hop Practice)
Use a practice or tutorial area to learn the timing. The steps above describe one experience’s method; they are not an officially documented technique guaranteed to work in every Roblox game.
Which controls should you use?
Roblox’s general controls explain the inputs available for movement and camera handling, but do not establish that wallhopping works consistently on every device. On desktop, use W or the up arrow to move forward and Space to jump. On mobile, drag the movement control at the lower left, tap the jump button at the lower right, and drag the screen to rotate the camera. (Roblox Creator Hub: Player controls)
The practice-game sequence relies on coordinated movement and camera flicks. The available instructions do not verify a reliable touch-screen timing method, so mobile users may need to experiment in the specific experience’s practice area.

Does wallhopping require 60 FPS?
There is no established Roblox-wide 60 FPS requirement. Wall Hop Practice recommends setting the frame rate to 60, while Wall Hop Frenzy’s listing says 60 FPS is required for its version. Treat those as instructions for those individual games, not a platform-wide setting. (Wall Hop Practice; Wall Hop Frenzy)
Why the technique may differ between Roblox games
Experience descriptions characterize wallhopping differently. Crazy Wall Hop Obby calls it a Roblox glitch and recommends a maximum frame rate of 60 FPS on PC. Wall Hop Frenzy describes its version as an extra jump made by jumping and turning on stacked walls. Roblox Creator Hub also discusses wall-jumping as a custom ability developers can create. That developer documentation does not provide player instructions for wallhopping in existing experiences. (Roblox Creator Hub: Character Controller Library)

Some wallhop games add shortcuts for resetting your character or aligning the camera. For example, Noob to Pro Wall Hop Obby lists R to reset and comma/period to align on computer; its console listing gives Y to reset and R2/L2 for alignment. Crazy Wall Hop Obby also lists reset and camera-alignment controls. These keys are specific to those experiences, so check the game’s controls or instructions rather than assuming they work across Roblox. (Noob to Pro Wall Hop Obby; Crazy Wall Hop Obby)
