The page also lists current matches and results, so it is the best place to check what is live and when a team plays next. BLAST says multiple language broadcasts are available.
Where to watch BLAST SLAM VIII
Open BLAST’s BLAST SLAM VIII event page and select its official BLASTDota Twitch or YouTube broadcast link. The page says broadcasts are available in multiple languages, but it does not enumerate them; check the options shown there rather than assuming a particular language stream is available.
BLAST identifies both platforms as viewing destinations, but does not establish a difference in match coverage between Twitch and YouTube. Choose the one you prefer or already use, and follow the event-page link to find the current live broadcast.
How to check matches, results, and start times
- Open the official event page for the current match listing, results, and broadcast links.
- Find the match for the team you are following in that live listing. Use it to confirm the next opponent and match status instead of relying on an earlier schedule.
- For announced schedule and format details, consult BLAST’s September 24, 2026 schedule article. Recheck the event page near match time for updates.
- To locate this event among BLAST’s other Dota competitions, use the BLAST Dota tournament listing.
Match times are subject to change. BLAST’s 2026 DOTA SLAM Rulebook, last updated September 23, 2026, gives BLAST the right to amend or reorder the match schedule and says a rearranged start time will be published by BLAST. The current event listing is therefore more reliable for a specific upcoming match than an unchanged copy of the initial schedule. See the official rulebook.

BLAST SLAM VIII format and event dates
BLAST lists BLAST SLAM VIII as running September 29–October 11, 2026, at BLAST Arena Studios in Malta. The event page lists 16 teams and a $750,000 prize pool. Its seven-stage structure comprises four groups, seeding matches, a last-chance stage, and playoffs.
BLAST’s September 24 schedule article specifies that the 16 teams were split into four GSL groups and that group matches are best-of-three. It lists Stream A and Stream B for group matches, with scheduled times in CEST. Later stages include seeding matches, Last Chance Qualifier matches, and playoffs. These are event details, not general facts about Dota 2 tournaments; consult the live listing for current results and remaining matches.
