The City Racers event in this title ran April 2–6, 2025; those dates are historical, not a current schedule. There is no guaranteed way to win: collect Flags efficiently, choose solo or team play based on the rewards actually shown in your game, and spend Race Dice with the standings and final-race scoring in mind.
What the April 2–6 City Racers event was
IGGM reported that this City Racers run began April 2, 2025, at 1 p.m. EST and ended April 6, 2025, at 1 p.m. EST. Its guide describes a preparation period followed by three daily races. These dates and event-specific rewards refer to that past run, not an upcoming schedule. IGGM’s April 2025 guide
Scopely’s later overview describes the recurring Racers format: four teams compete on a themed track, players collect Flags and spend them to roll Race Dice, and race placements award Medals. Laps can also pay out rewards. The overview says a typical Championship has three races, each lasting 24 hours, and that Medals from the final race are doubled. Event configurations can change, so treat the in-game event screen as authoritative for a particular run. Scopely’s Racers overview, published January 22, 2026
Build a Flag and dice plan before racing
Collect Flags from the available sources
Scopely lists several Flag sources: landing on Flags around the board, Quick Wins, the Shop’s free gift every eight hours, milestone and tournament rewards, and Tycoon Club gifts. Board Flag collection is affected by your Multiplier. Scopely says you need at least 20 Flags to roll Race Dice. Scopely’s Racers overview

Use multipliers with the Flag cost in view
A higher Multiplier can make board Flag collection more productive, but it also uses more dice. Race Dice multipliers likewise affect how many Flags a roll costs and how far you may progress. Choose a level that fits your Flag supply and remaining race time rather than maximizing the multiplier automatically. Doubles and triples also affect movement, so a roll’s outcome is not just a matter of the multiplier. Scopely does not publish a universally optimal multiplier or spending schedule.

Choose team or solo after checking the event’s prizes
Scopely says team and solo play have different reward sets; its recurring-format overview says team rewards are better. That does not establish that team play is best for every player or every event configuration. Compare the actual in-game prize sets before confirming a mode, then weigh the rewards against whether you can coordinate with teammates and how actively they are likely to participate.
For team play, Scopely describes a 24-hour team-building window and recommends chatting with teammates to strategize. Agree on how to use Flags and when to push, while recognizing that coordination improves planning but cannot guarantee a win.

Spend for the standings, not a fixed script
Balance placement Medals with lap rewards
Race placement contributes Medals toward the Championship, while completing laps can provide additional Flags, rolls, sticker packs, and other rewards. Keep track of both your position and lap progress: focusing only on a race finish may overlook rewards earned along the way. Race Dice results, the selected Multiplier, and doubles or triples all influence movement.
Keep the final race in your plan
Scopely’s overview says the final race awards double Medals. That makes the last race especially valuable to the overall total and can justify keeping some resources available for a late push if the standings call for it. It does not mean you should skip early races: placements, lap rewards, your current lead or deficit, and the event’s rules all affect whether conserving resources makes sense.

Medal values reported for the 2025 run
IGGM reported the following placement values for each race in the April 2–6, 2025 event, with the final race’s Medals doubled. These are secondary-source figures for that historical run, not a confirmed schedule for future Racers events.
| Race placement | Medals reported for a regular race |
|---|---|
| 1st | 10 |
| 2nd | 8 |
| 3rd | 7 |
| 4th | 5 |
Under IGGM’s reported scoring, the final-race values would be double those amounts. The guide also reported a Wild Sticker and Champ Board Token among the first-place team rewards, and a different reward table for solo players. The reviewed sources do not provide a dated official archive confirming those specific event rewards, so check the prize display in-game rather than assuming those items or values apply to another run. What can—and cannot—secure the top prize
The practical aim is to enter races with Flags ready, spend them at a pace you can sustain, pursue both placements and lap rewards, and adjust your effort to the live standings. No approach guarantees the top prize: this is a competition against other players, and teammate activity, opponents’ results, and event-specific settings all affect the outcome. The cited sources do not establish a fixed number of Medals that guarantees the championship.
