Build Mydei as an HP-scaling Imaginary main DPS on the Path of Destruction. Prioritize HP until roughly 8,000, then balance CRIT, use Scholar Lost in Erudition, and pair him with Tribbie, Sunday, and Hyacine when available. His best Light Cone is Flame of Blood, Blaze My Path.
Mydei’s role and HP-driven kit
Mydei is a five-star Imaginary character whose damage scales from Max HP. Current data lists him as “Main DPS / Sustain” because his attacks spend or remove his own HP while building his offensive state.
How his combat loop works
- Use Mydei’s abilities to spend or lose HP and build Charge.
- Continue attacking until he enters Vendetta.
- Convert that setup into the enhanced Godslayer Be God attack.
- Have a healer restore the HP consumed during the cycle so he can keep attacking and rebuilding Charge.
His healer is part of the rotation, not merely an emergency safeguard. Mydei’s Ultimate costs 160 Energy, so plan its use around his enhanced attack.
Ultimate timing
When possible, cast the Ultimate immediately before Godslayer Be God. This lets the next-Skill damage bonus from Scholar Lost in Erudition apply to the enhanced attack.

Best relics and planar ornaments
Relic sets
Scholar Lost in Erudition is the recommended set. Its two-piece bonus grants 8% CRIT Rate. Its four-piece bonus increases Skill and Ultimate DMG by 20%, then increases the next Skill’s DMG by 25% after using the Ultimate. That final bonus is why Ultimate timing matters for Godslayer Be God.

Longevous Disciple is the secondary set option when its pieces provide substantially better HP, Speed, or CRIT rolls than an incomplete Scholar set.
Planar ornaments
Bone Collection’s Serene Demesne is the preferred ornament set: it grants 12% Max HP and, at 5,000 HP or more, 28% CRIT DMG. Rutilant Arena is the alternative when its pieces offer better substats or you cannot assemble Bone Collection’s breakpoint efficiently.

The team works because its support effects align with Mydei’s real requirements: action advancement, damage amplification, and enough healing throughput to keep his HP-consuming attacks running. If you replace Hyacine, use another healer capable of sustaining repeated HP loss rather than relying on occasional emergency recovery.
