The outlet stressed that the move was unconfirmed and might be short-term. The two players later exchanged the starting spot in reported 2025 roster updates, so the initial report was not a description of one uninterrupted change.
What the December 2024 report claimed
Breaking Point’s December 11, 2024 report said OpTic was weighing a lineup change while Pred dealt with personal issues outside the game. It identified Huke as the player the team was targeting, but did not say the move was confirmed or permanent. Huke had previously played alongside Shotzzy and Dashy for OpTic Texas.

OpTic’s team page currently lists Huke, Shotzzy, Dashy, and Mercules without Pred. The Call of Duty League’s schedule page identifies its displayed season as 2026, but a schedule does not confirm individual player assignments. The team-page listing is therefore the relevant displayed roster information; it should not be treated as proof of the precise date or circumstances of a roster change.
