It is a single-player, turn-based roguelite deckbuilder set in the Victorian steampunk world of Sovereign Syndicate, before the events of the first game.
What kind of game is Hunter’s Moon?
Crimson Herring Studios’ Hunter’s Moon combines deckbuilding and turn-based combat with a story about investigating a mysterious plague. Steam describes a roguelite structure in which players choose from four characters, each with unique cards and abilities, then customize their character and deck to face corrupted beasts and bosses.
The Steam description places the adventure before the events of Sovereign Syndicate and says it spans four chapters with new locations, enemies, and bosses. The store categorizes it as an Adventure, RPG, and Strategy game and lists it as single-player. See the Steam listing.
When did it launch, and where can you play it?
Hunter’s Moon launched on PC via Steam on November 24, 2025. Steam confirms the release and current listing. The developer’s prelaunch FAQ also named GOG, Humble, Green Man Gaming, Fanatical, and Nuuvem as planned PC storefronts, and PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and X, and Nintendo Switch 2 as planned console platforms. Those were plans stated before release, not confirmation that the game is currently available on every named store or console.
The Steam page lists English full audio alongside multiple interface and subtitle languages. It also lists achievements, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing.
What did it cost at launch?
In a FAQ last edited November 21, 2025, Zugalu Entertainment representative Isaac stated that the launch price would be “$19.99 USD with standard Steam regional discounts and a 10% launch discount.” That is historical launch pricing, not a current quote; check the relevant store for today’s price and any regional offers. Zugalu Entertainment and Gamersky Games are listed as publishers on Steam.

In the same November 2025 prelaunch FAQ, Isaac said, “Yes, though the game does not have full controller support yet,” when asked whether it worked on Steam Deck. The FAQ also described controller support as partial. These are dated developer statements, not a current compatibility certification; check the live Steam listing for updated information before buying for a particular device or controller setup.
