Where to find Drywood trees
Two location reports overlap on Oasis and savanna. Beyond those, their biome lists differ, and reliable coordinates are not available in the cited guides.

Dexerto places its locations in Howling Sands, Zone 2. Because the lists do not fully agree and neither source identifies a build, start with Oasis or savanna, then check the other named dry-region biomes if you are exploring a different area or version.
How to identify and harvest the trees
Dexerto describes two tree types as sources of Drywood:

- Dry Trees: described as slim, with dark brown bark and light yellow leaves. The guide notes that vines on some trunks may need to be chopped away to reach the bark.
- Bottletrees: described as slim or shorter, with light gray bark and bright green leaves.
That guide says to use a hatchet to harvest them. The available references do not establish this as an official tool requirement for every current build, so if the tree does not yield logs, check the in-game interaction or recipe information for your version.

The item reference calls the trunk item “Dry Log” and gives its game identifier as Wood_Dry_Trunk. According to the Hytale Guide Dry Log reference, it can be processed into Drywood at a Builder’s Workbench; that page also lists Dry Log half slabs and stairs.

A separate Drywood Planks reference says planks are made from Drywood Log at the Builder’s Workbench. It lists Drywood Planks as ingredients in these recipes:
- Sandswept Chest
- Feran Bed
- Feran Chandelier
The Drywoods community page also reports that a Farmer’s Workbench Tier 7 upgrade uses 50 Drywood. The item and progression references do not state a game build, and recipes can change, so verify the quantities and requirements in your in-game workbench.

Quick route from tree to crafting material
- Search Oasis or savanna first; these are the overlapping location reports.
- Look for the Dry Tree or Bottletree descriptions above. Dexerto recommends a hatchet, and says vines may obscure some Dry Tree trunks.
- Take the Dry Log to a Builder’s Workbench and check the available processing and construction recipes in your build.
