Intel’s Lunar Lake laptop averaged above 70 frames per second in an F1 24 launch-event demonstration, with reported peaks above 90 fps; an AMD Ryzen AI HX 370 laptop maintained about 60 fps. But Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite system ran F1 22 instead, so the event did not produce a fair three-way comparison. These were reported results from Intel’s September 2024 showcase, not independently controlled benchmarks.
What the F1 gaming demonstration showed
At a Core Ultra 200V launch event ahead of IFA Berlin 2024, Intel showed integrated-graphics gaming on laptops intended for commercial release. In the account published by Laptop Mag on September 3, 2024, the Intel Lunar Lake and AMD Strix Point laptops ran F1 24 at 1080p on the High preset. The Snapdragon X Elite laptop ran F1 22 at the same stated resolution and preset.
| Platform | Game in the demo | Resolution and preset | Reported result |
|---|---|---|---|
| Intel Core Ultra 200V, Lunar Lake | F1 24 | 1080p, High | Average above 70 fps; peaks above 90 fps |
| AMD Ryzen AI HX 370, Strix Point | F1 24 | 1080p, High | Approximately 60 fps |
| Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite | F1 22 | 1080p, High | Approximately 30–40 fps |
The figures are reported launch-event results, not a standardized benchmark table with a published testing protocol. The public account does not establish matching laptop power limits, cooling, memory configurations, drivers, or other conditions needed to treat the numbers as a controlled comparison.

Why Qualcomm ran F1 22, not F1 24
According to Laptop Mag’s event report, F1 24 did not run on the Snapdragon system, including under emulation. The Qualcomm laptop was therefore shown running F1 22. That makes the demonstration relevant to compatibility as well as graphics performance, but its 30–40 fps result cannot be ranked directly against the F1 24 figures.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
This is a narrow report about what happened at this demonstration; it does not prove that F1 24 is universally unplayable on every Snapdragon X Elite laptop or under every software configuration. For Arm-based Windows machines, game support can depend on native Arm versions, x86 emulation, launchers, drivers, graphics APIs, and anti-cheat systems. Qualcomm describes Snapdragon X Elite as a 12-core, 4nm platform with an integrated Adreno GPU and emphasizes performance and efficiency on its official product page; those specifications do not guarantee compatibility with any particular game.
What Lunar Lake’s result says about its graphics
Lunar Lake introduced Intel’s Arc Xe2 integrated graphics, derived from the company’s next-generation Battlemage graphics architecture. Intel positioned Xe2 as a substantial graphics step for low-power laptops. The F1 24 demonstration suggested that an integrated GPU in a thin-and-light machine could deliver playable 1080p performance in at least one modern racing game.

Intel’s broader graphics claims were more extensive than the live demo. A TechSpot report on Intel’s claims said Intel cited nearly 100 fps in F1 2024 at 1080p Medium and about a 16% iGPU advantage for the Core Ultra 9 288V over the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 in one comparison. Those are vendor claims, and the Medium-preset F1 figure is not the same result as the High-preset launch demonstration.

How to interpret the comparison
Lunar Lake versus Strix Point
The defensible conclusion is that Lunar Lake led the reported F1 24 showcase: its system averaged above 70 fps while the AMD system held about 60 fps. That is a promising result for Intel, not proof that Lunar Lake is faster in every game or laptop design. A short live demonstration also does not establish long-session performance, frame-time consistency, or how the machines behave on battery.
Snapdragon X Elite
The Qualcomm result is not a same-game GPU comparison. Its value is as a snapshot of the software compatibility obstacle encountered at that event. Buyers should verify support for the specific games and applications they rely on rather than extrapolate from an F1 22 result or headline GPU specifications.

Integrated graphics versus a gaming laptop
The demo supports a modest but useful takeaway: modern integrated graphics can make some games playable at 1080p in a portable laptop. It does not show that integrated graphics can match a laptop with a discrete GeForce RTX or Radeon GPU in demanding games. Discrete graphics remain the more appropriate choice for high-refresh competitive play, 1440p or 4K, ray tracing, demanding new releases, and consistently high frame rates. Laptop Mag likewise qualified its conclusion in favor of discrete graphics for higher resolutions and frame rates well above 60 fps.

What to check before buying
- For portable 1080p gaming: Compare the exact Lunar Lake and Ryzen AI 300 laptop models, including cooling, memory capacity and configuration, display, and sustained power behavior. Performance can differ between laptops using the same processor.
- For games that matter to you: Look for results for those titles, settings, and resolution. Check whether tests use native rendering or upscaling such as XeSS or FSR; average fps alone does not show stutter, 1% lows, or input latency.
- For Snapdragon X Elite: Confirm that each important game, launcher, anti-cheat system, and peripheral works on the particular Arm-based Windows configuration, either natively or acceptably through emulation.
- For sustained play: Seek longer-session results and note whether testing was plugged in or on battery. A short demo may not show performance after thermal soak, and unplugged performance can differ.
- For high-end gaming: Choose a laptop with a discrete GPU if your target is high-refresh play, demanding visual settings, or high-resolution gaming rather than portability with occasional gaming.
This is a historical September 2024 launch demonstration, not a current 2026 benchmark. Laptop availability, drivers, game patches, and configurations have changed since then; the event figures should not stand in for testing of a laptop you are considering now.
Best Value
- 5-in-1 Connectivity: Equipped with a 4K HDMI port, a 5 Gbps USB-C data port, two 5 Gbps USB-A ports, and a USB C 100W PD-IN port. Note: The USB C 100W PD-IN port supports only charging and does not support data transfer devices such as headphones or speakers.

Sources and disclosure
The event details and reported frame rates come from Laptop Mag’s September 2024 report. The comparison here treats them as event-reported figures, not independent lab results. Laptop Mag disclosed that Intel paid for travel and accommodations to IFA Berlin and said Intel did not see the article before publication. Broader Xe2 comparisons and Intel’s game-specific claims are covered in TechSpot’s report. For later discussion of Qualcomm’s response and the limits of company benchmarks, see Tom’s Hardware.
