Zašto se iPhone restartuje posle 72 sata?
Virginia Department of Forensic Science (DFS) opisuje iOS funkciju neaktivnosti koja restartuje primenljivi iPhone ako je uključen, 72 sata nakon što je poslednji put zaključan. U obaveštenju za policijske agencije od 20. februara 2025. DFS navodi: “Inactivity Reboot – causes an applicable, powered-on iPhone to reboot every 72 hours (3 days) after it was last locked.” Prevod: funkcija neaktivnosti restartuje odgovarajući iPhone dok je uključen, 72 sata (tri dana) nakon poslednjeg zaključavanja. DFS navodi da se funkcija ne može isključiti kroz korisnički interfejs. Opis se odnosi na određene iPhone uređaje i na konkretno bezbednosno ponašanje, a ne na svako iznenadno restartovanje izazvano kvarom, pražnjenjem baterije ili ažuriranjem.
Šta restart menja: AFU i BFU
AFU i BFU opisuju bezbednosno stanje uređaja u odnosu na to da li je pristupni kod unet od poslednjeg pokretanja. To nisu jednostavno sinonimi za „otključan“ i „zaključan“: telefon u AFU stanju može imati zaključan ekran, ali je kod već unet nakon pokretanja.

Automatski restart zato prebacује телефон iz AFU u BFU. Prema DFS-u, ako je pristupni kod poznat, ova promena ne utiče na mogućnost pribavljanja podataka; kada kod nije poznat, BFU može zahtevati duži postupak pristupa, u zavisnosti od podrške uređaja.
Šta je prijavljeno o GrayKey Preserve?
U izveštaju od 1. oktobra 2026, 404 Media navodi da je Magnet Forensics u videu za policijske korisnike predstavio GrayKey Preserve i Evidence Preservation Mode za postojeće GrayKey uređaje. Prema opisu videa, cilj je očuvanje forenzičkog stanja telefona i ako dođe do restarta. 9to5Mac prenosi tvrdnju zaposlenog iz videa da se tako može sačuvati AFU stanje. To je tvrdnja kompanije preneta kroz izveštavanje, a ne rezultat javno prikazanog nezavisnog testiranja. 404 Media; 9to5Mac.

Prema 9to5Mac-u, istraživač Jiska Classen izneo je promenu sata uređaja ili isključivanje procesa koji ističe određene podatke kao moguća objašnjenja. To su spekulacije o mogućem mehanizmu, a ne potvrđen tehnički opis. 404 Media je naveo da ni Apple ni Magnet Forensics nisu odgovorili na zahtev za komentar u trenutku objave.
Da li je dokazano da GrayKey zaobilazi restart na novom iOS-u?
Ne na osnovu javno opisanih informacija. Izveštaji ne utvrđuju kako prijavljena funkcija radi, koji modeli i verzije iOS-a je podržavaju, koliko dugo je dostupna niti da li je korišćena u konkretnim istragama. Zato tvrdnju treba čitati kao navodnu mogućnost koju predstavlja proizvođač, a ne kao potvrdu da je zaštita pouzdano zaobiđena na svim iPhone uređajima.

Zašto je rok bitan forenzičarima?
Promena iz AFU u BFU može biti važna kada je telefon zaključan nepoznatim kodom, a istražitelji čekaju ovlašćenje ili pristup laboratoriji. U obaveštenju namenjenom policijskim agencijama, DFS savetuje brzo slanje uređaja na pregled i očuvanje napajanja i mrežne izolacije u okolnostima koje opisuje. To je stručna smernica za rukovanje dokazima, ne uputstvo za potrošače niti savet za izbegavanje istrage.
