A free scan shows the junk files, broken settings and background clutter dragging Windows down - then fixes them in one click.Free scan · Windows 10 & 11To troubleshoot IRL Pro audio that is out of sync on YouTube, first find where the mismatch begins: in the phone’s capture, the receiver preview, YouTube’s live player, or the saved replay. Then test the audio route—especially Bluetooth—before changing streaming settings. These checks help isolate likely causes, but no verified official IRL Pro audio-sync control or universal correction procedure is established here.
Find where the audio goes out of sync
Compare the same moment at each stage you can access. This is a practical diagnostic approach based on the separate phone audio, receiver, and YouTube playback stages—not a published IRL Pro checklist.
- Check the phone capture. Record a short local clip with the same microphone and audio route used for the stream. If that clip is already out of sync, investigate the phone’s capture or audio path first.
- Check the receiver preview. If the local clip is aligned but the receiver preview is not, focus on the stream’s audio route, receiver, and transport.
- Check YouTube live playback. If the receiver preview is aligned but the YouTube player is not, compare another viewer or device if available; the problem may be downstream of the receiver.
- Check the replay after the broadcast. If the saved replay is aligned but live playback was not, the issue may have been specific to live playback. If the replay is also out of sync, the mismatch was likely present earlier in the chain.
Note whether the offset is steady or grows over time, and whether it appears only while moving or on a particular network. Those clues help distinguish a consistent audio-route delay from a stream that is becoming unstable.
Test the phone’s audio route, especially Bluetooth
Disconnect Bluetooth earbuds, a headset, or another Bluetooth audio device and run a short private or unlisted test using the phone’s built-in audio path. A third-party receiver guide specifically lists checking Bluetooth under “Audio out of sync” troubleshooting and warns that Bluetooth can introduce variable lag (StreamerSentinel’s IRL Pro guide). This is a controlled test, not a guaranteed fix.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
If your setup needs an external microphone and your phone supports the connection, a compatible wired USB-C lavalier is another audio path you could test. That is an inference from the Bluetooth guidance, not a tested product recommendation. Confirm connector compatibility first; a wired microphone will not correct a mismatch introduced by the encoder, receiver, or YouTube player.
Check protocol and network stability
IRL Pro supports RTMP and SRT, according to a third-party setup guide. Confirm that the protocol and URL selected in the app match the receiver or dashboard configuration (GoLightstream’s IRL Pro setup guide). A mismatch or unstable connection can complicate diagnosis, but changing transport is not a proven fix for every sync problem.

If the feed degrades while moving
The same guide recommends trying SRT rather than RTMP when a feed degrades while moving, and lowering bitrate if the setup is already using SRT. Treat these as transport-stability suggestions: change one setting at a time and compare a short test. A lower bitrate may reduce network strain, but the guide does not establish it as a universal lip-sync correction.
If you use SRT latency settings
StreamerSentinel recommends 2000 ms as a starting point in its own receiver workflow, and says to raise it to 3000–4000 ms if cellular drops occur. For its “Audio out of sync” case, it separately suggests lowering latency. These are third-party, receiver-specific recommendations—not official IRL Pro defaults or universal values. Adjust one variable at a time and check both synchronization and connection stability.

Do not raise SRT latency reflexively: it adds transport delay and can make audience interaction feel slower. SRT transport latency is also distinct from YouTube’s viewer-latency setting.
Understand what YouTube latency can—and cannot—change
YouTube defines stream latency as “the delay between your camera capturing an event and the event being displayed to viewers.” Its guidance explains that “The lower the latency, the less read-ahead buffer the video player will have.” Less buffer can mean more viewer buffering, and network congestion can delay a stream even when its average bitrate is sustainable (YouTube Help: live encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions).

Those latency controls concern how quickly viewers see the stream and the buffering tradeoff; YouTube does not document them as a lip-sync offset control. Also check the ingestion method before looking for a setting: YouTube says webcam and mobile streams are always set up for interactivity, and creators cannot select a live latency setting for those streams. Do not assume encoder-workflow controls are available for every IRL Pro setup.

|---|---|
| The local phone clip is already out of sync. | Repeat a short capture with Bluetooth disconnected and the phone’s built-in audio route. If the mismatch remains, focus on the phone or capture path rather than YouTube latency. |
| The local clip is aligned, but the receiver preview is not. | Check the selected audio route and confirm the protocol and URL match between IRL Pro and the receiver or dashboard. If using SRT, test latency changes cautiously and one at a time. |
| The receiver preview looks aligned, but YouTube live playback does not. | Compare playback on another device or viewer if possible. Check whether the issue changes with network conditions; YouTube latency affects viewer delay and buffering, not a documented sync offset. |
| The saved replay is aligned, but live viewing was not. | That points toward a live-playback-specific issue rather than a persistent mismatch in the recorded stream. Compare a fresh test before changing capture settings. |
| The stream becomes unstable or the mismatch worsens while moving. | Check the network and transport configuration. The third-party setup guide suggests SRT instead of RTMP for a feed that degrades while moving, or a lower bitrate if already using SRT. |
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is for keeping a prerecorded YouTube stream running 24/7; it does not solve an IRL Pro camera or mobile-capture sync problem. Upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; StreamNeo loops the uploaded video from the cloud, automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream, and streams the upload as made up to 4K 60fps at one price per slot. The first day is free with no card. Monthly: $9.99 per month. See StreamNeo, or start your free first day.
