When did Gears of War: Reloaded come out on PS5?
Gears of War: Reloaded launched on PS5 on August 26, 2025. Xbox announced a $39.99 suggested retail price at launch; that was the announced launch price, not confirmation of the current price. Check the PlayStation product page for the current PS5 listing.

What is Gears of War: Reloaded?
It is a remaster of the original Gears of War, developed by The Coalition with Sumo Digital and Disbelief. It includes the original game’s post-launch content: a bonus campaign act, multiplayer maps, characters and cosmetics. The campaign supports two-player co-op, while Versus supports up to eight players. Cross-play is supported across platforms; signing in with a Microsoft account enables cross-progression and cross-platform invites, according to Xbox’s launch announcement.
What does the 4K remaster offer?
Xbox lists 4K resolution and assets, remastered textures, improved lighting, shadows, reflections and post-processing, HDR, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, 7.1 spatial audio and variable refresh rate. Its published performance targets are 60 frames per second in the campaign and 120 frames per second in multiplayer; the campaign is also listed as having no loading screens. These are publisher specifications, not independent performance measurements. 4K, HDR and high frame rates depend on compatible equipment.

On PS5, PlayStation lists DualSense haptics, controller speaker support and adaptive triggers. On PS5 Pro, the product page lists PlayStation Super Spectral Resolution support and improved shadow and reflection quality. Online multiplayer on PlayStation consoles requires PlayStation Plus, according to PlayStation.
Is Gears of War: E-Day coming to PS5?
Gears of War: E-Day is a different game, not another name for the remaster. It is an origin story, and its official platform list names Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC and Steam—not PS5. Xbox has described it as an Xbox console exclusive and said it is not timed-exclusive. Its official page lists a global release date of October 6, 2026.
