The available coverage does not verify a current 50% Amazon Prime Day discount on the Corsair TC100 Relaxed, so treat that headline price as unconfirmed until the live listing checks out. The chair is a credible budget-gaming-chair candidate, but the offer’s exact model, seller, and reference price still matter.
What is confirmed about the Corsair TC100 Relaxed?
PC Gamer has included the TC100 Relaxed in budget gaming-chair and Prime Day coverage. Its October 2024 article described fabric and black leatherette versions with 2D armrests, and quoted reviewer Katie Wickens: “The thick cushion, broad design, and refined styling make this a good gaming chair, but the fact Corsair has managed to get the price down without compromising on comfort is what makes the TC100 Relaxed a great gaming chair.” The quotation appears in PC Gamer’s deal article, which attributes it to Wickens’s review. PC Gamer, October 8, 2024
That coverage makes the model a reasonable chair to investigate, not proof that it is the exact product behind the 50%-off claim. A deal can apply to one upholstery or seller listing while another variant appears at a different price.
How do the reported prices compare with the claimed deal?
| Coverage | Reported offer | What it establishes |
|---|---|---|
| PC Gamer, October 8, 2024 | $199.99, down from $249.99 at Newegg; the article said a coupon code was required | A historical $50 Newegg reduction, not an Amazon price or current offer. Source |
| PC Gamer, July 2025 live coverage | $146.82, compared with $269.99, for Prime members at Amazon | A historical Amazon offer and reported saving of $123.17; it does not establish today’s price or reference price. Source |
| PC Gamer, October 2026 deal roundup | Not stated for a verified 50%-off Amazon offer | The roundup lists the TC100 Relaxed among gaming-chair deals but does not substantiate the title’s exact discount. Source |
These publisher-reported figures are snapshots of past promotions, not an independent price-history audit. They do not prove that a current comparison price is valid or that a live offer is the lowest available.

How to judge the Amazon Prime Day listing
- Match the model. Check that the listing names the Corsair TC100 Relaxed, rather than a different Corsair chair or a similar-looking model.
- Match the configuration. Confirm whether it is fabric or black leatherette and check the armrest description. The cited coverage identifies 2D armrests.
- Check the seller and total. Read the live seller, shipping cost, delivery estimate, and return terms on Amazon; the historical coverage does not establish these details for a current listing.
- Test the discount math. Compare the live price with a clearly documented prior or regular price for the same configuration. A displayed percentage alone does not validate the reference price.
- Compare alternatives on equal terms. Weigh current price, upholstery, armrest adjustability, seller, and return terms rather than comparing different variants as if they were identical.
Is it a good budget gaming-chair deal?
The TC100 Relaxed has been presented by PC Gamer as a budget chair worth considering, and a historical Amazon promotion shows it has previously been discounted. But neither point confirms a current 50% cut. Judge the present offer from the exact live listing and its verifiable price comparison. The cited coverage does not provide independently verified ergonomic measurements or a current warranty comparison, so those should not be inferred from the deal reports.

- Most Comfortable And Relaxing: Equipped with headrest and lumbar pillow. When your neck feels sore from gaming or working with head down for a long time, the headrest will relieve your fatigue. When tired from maintaining a same sitting posture, please rest assured to lean back and charge your waist pillow, it will relax your tired waist energetically.
- More Stable Than Others: Common gaming chairs are equipped with plastic legs generally to save costs, but we still insist on applying the same material as the built-in metal frame. No fear of high or low temperature, no fear of the sunshine, no fear of wind, it will not rust and break. Whether child rolls on the chair or a pet jumps up excitedly, the sturdy metal legs will keep the chair stable firmly.
- Liberate Your Feet: Will you feel tired for sitting all the time? Sure. Then you can choose the chair with footrest to relax your feet. When you don’t want to straighten your back and sit, just take out the footrest, put your feet up, turn on your favorite music, and start enjoying the comfort! And don’t worry about clean, it is also made of high-quality PU leather, just wipe it with a soft cloth and it will shine as new.
- Reject Short-Lived Chairs: We never hesitate to apply materials. Armrests must be padded from the position of the elbow to the wrist, built-in metal frame must be wider, and the foam under the leather must be rich, it can’t collapse as if we are sitting on a hard stone when leaning up. The chair has gone through thousands of rotation and sitting experiments before mass production. Sufficient and premium materials can ensure the chair to withstand long-term use.
- Worry-Free Purchase: A detailed instruction will be sent to you along with all accessories so that you can assemble the chair easily. Free replacement or refund within 30 days. Free replacement or repair within 1 year. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact us, we will do our best to make our customers satisfied.
