Rockstar announced a GTA$500,000 GTA Online reward for linking Discord to a Rockstar Games account on December 5, 2025. The announcement pointed players to the discord-rewards channel in Rockstar’s official Discord server for claim details. The sources available do not establish whether the offer can still be redeemed as of October 8, 2026, so treat it as a past promotion—not a guaranteed live reward.
What Rockstar announced about the Discord reward
In a post dated December 5, 2025, Rockstar said players could get GTA$500,000 in GTA Online by linking Discord to their Rockstar Games account. Contemporaneous reporting reproduced the post and said players should check the discord-rewards channel in Rockstar’s official Discord server for claim details. GameSpot’s report is the source for that announcement.

The announcement is evidence that Rockstar offered the reward at that time, but it does not establish a current deadline, whether the promotion remains open, or its full eligibility and payment terms. Rockstar’s account-linking guide explains how to connect Discord but does not say the reward is still active.
How to link Discord to your Rockstar Games account
- Sign in to the Rockstar Games account you use for GTA Online, then open Rockstar’s account-linking instructions.
- In account settings, open Connections and select Link beside Discord.
- Sign in to Discord and authorize the connection.
- Choose a visibility setting and continue.
These are Rockstar’s documented linking steps; linking an account alone should not be taken as confirmation that the historical GTA$500,000 offer is claimable now.

Where the historical claim instructions appeared
Rockstar directed players to the discord-rewards channel on its official Discord server for details on claiming the promotion. The Rockstar Games Discord directory listing identifies the server as Rockstar’s official home on Discord. The available sources do not substantiate a current claim command, delivery timeframe, or active deadline; rely on current Rockstar posts and terms rather than unverified third-party instructions.
Does the reward have eligibility restrictions?
Rockstar’s general promotion guidance says some offers may be limited to selected members or platforms, and that a player must receive an offer to redeem it. This is a general rule, not confirmation of the Discord campaign’s specific eligibility requirements. The reviewed sources do not establish which players qualified for this particular promotion.

How the Discord offer differs from GTA+
GTA+ is a separate subscription benefit, not another description of the Discord promotion. Rockstar says GTA+ members receive an automatic GTA$500,000 deposit each time their subscription renews. Rockstar’s GTA+ benefits page describes that recurring renewal benefit.
