Its score can help you compare systems under the same benchmark settings, but the available official information does not establish how accurately it predicts frame rates in live hunts. Treat it as one reference point—not a guarantee or a reason by itself to buy hardware.
What the Monster Hunter Wilds Benchmark is
CAPCOM describes the tool as a free benchmark that uses a viewable experience from Monster Hunter Wilds to measure and score a computer’s performance. That description comes from CAPCOM’s announcement syndicated on Steam on February 13, 2025: “Monster Hunter Wilds Benchmark is a free tool that uses a viewable experience from Monster Hunter Wilds to measure and score the performance of your computer.” Read the announcement on Steam.
It is a performance benchmark, not a full gameplay demo. The announcement does not establish that the sequence represents every kind of hunt, multiplayer session, or other demanding situation in the game.
How reliable is its score?
The score describes performance during the benchmark run, with the tested PC and chosen settings. It can be useful for comparing two runs when the benchmark version and settings are held constant. It does not, by itself, tell you the frame rate you will get throughout the full game.
#1 Best Overall
- Transform audio playing via your speakers and headphones
- Improve sound quality by adjusting it with effects
- Take control over the sound playing through audio hardware
The available official sources do not provide a validation study, predictive-accuracy percentage, or guarantee that the benchmark predicts live gameplay across different configurations, patches, and multiplayer conditions. Steam Community discussions show that players ask whether the tool is reliable, but individual community reports are anecdotes, not representative accuracy data.
For official requirements and support links, see the Monster Hunter Wilds Steam listing and Steam Support’s technical issue page. Neither provides benchmark-prediction validation.

- 【Advanced Gaming PC】Powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor with 8 C/ 16T, up to 5.1GHz, and featuring a 16MB L3 cache. This powerful CPU excels in gaming, video editing, and multitasking. With its 35-54W TDP range, it ensures efficient power consumption without compromising on performance
- 【32GB DDR5 + 2TB SSD】Equipped with 32GB memory capacity, DDR5 speed up to 5600MHz, offering faster data processing and multitasking. The dual 16GB channels support expansion up to 96GB, allowing users to customize based on their needs. The 2TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD ensures ultra-fast storage, with expansion options up to 8TB, making it perfect for heavy workloads and large storage needs
- 【Dual Intel i226V NIC 2.5Gbps, WiFi 6 & BT 5.2】Featuring dual Intel i226V 2.5Gbps Ethernet ports, K8 Plus mini PC provides faster and more stable wired network connections, ideal for gamers and content creators. WiFi 6 supports multiple frequency bands, ensuring a strong, low-latency wireless connection. BT5.2 delivers faster data transfer, lower power consumption, and support for the latest peripherals
- 【AMD Radeon 780M Gaming PC GPU】The AMD Radeon 780M is an integrated GPU based on the new RDNA3 architecture and has 12 CUs (= 768 shaders) clocked at up to 2700MHz. Thanks to the new architecture and higher clock speeds, the Radeon 780M should be clearly faster then the old Radeon 680M. This means most demanding games should be playable in minimum graphics settings (like Cyberpunk 2077) and less demanding games like Fifa 23 can be played in higher settings and resolutions (1080p)
- 【Oculink Interface for High-Speed Connectivity】The Oculink interface allows ultra-fast external connections for storage expansion or GPU upgrades. It ensures faster data transfer rates compared to traditional interfaces, offering enhanced flexibility for users who require additional performance for tasks like large data transfers or external GPU use
What the published PC requirements say
Steam’s listing gives the following requirements and performance expectations. The frame-rate figures are CAPCOM’s listed expectations for the stated settings, not independently verified test results.
| Listing tier | Example processors | Example graphics cards | Other listed requirements | Listed performance expectation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Minimum | Intel Core i5-10400, Intel Core i3-12100, or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 (6 GB VRAM) or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT (8 GB VRAM) | 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11; 16 GB RAM; DirectX 12; 75 GB available storage; SSD | 1080p, upscaled from 720p native, at 30 fps under Lowest settings |
| Recommended | Intel Core i5-10400, Intel Core i3-12100, or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super (8 GB VRAM) or AMD Radeon RX 6600 (8 GB VRAM) | 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11; 16 GB RAM; DirectX 12; 75 GB available storage; SSD | 1080p at 60 fps under Medium settings with Frame Generation enabled |
Requirements are a reference for checking whether your PC is in the range CAPCOM lists; they are not a promise of smooth performance on every system. Consult the live Steam listing for current requirements.

- The installation procedure is quick and does not require special input from the user. The interface of musikCube is clean and simple to navigate.
- You can add music to a library or collection from files, folders or Internet radio, and view the number, title, artist, album, genre, time and rating for all tracks, as well as select them by albums.
- Standard audio player functions include volume level adjustment, equalizer configuration, audio stream navigation using a slider, shuffle and repeat modes, as well as a cross-fade effect.
How to make a useful comparison
When comparing benchmark results or PCs, keep the conditions aligned and report enough detail for the comparison to mean something:
- Use the same benchmark version and graphics settings.
- Record resolution, upscaling mode, and whether Frame Generation is enabled.
- Include the actual score or frame-rate output, rather than relying on a vague label such as “good.”
- Compare the CPU, GPU, VRAM, and RAM in each system.
- Keep a benchmark score or average frame rate distinct from frame-time consistency and performance in demanding live gameplay.
Should you upgrade based on the score?
No single score identifies the right component to replace. The same result can mean different things depending on your processor, graphics card, memory, settings, and target resolution or frame rate. Check your specific hardware against Steam’s published requirements, then use the benchmark as one data point alongside performance in the game itself. Do not buy a GPU, CPU, monitor, or other component from the score alone.
