Epic’s records instead document Creative/UEFN fixes in v37.20 and a separate Creative/UEFN bug report in v38.10. Those mode-specific issues do not establish a Battle Royale disablement.
Is the Precision Air Strike disabled in Battle Royale?
Its current Battle Royale and Zero Build availability is not established by the official material available here. A community-maintained item history says the Precision Air Strike was vaulted in Battle Royale while remaining available in Creative/UEFN, but that page includes later changes and does not confirm the item’s status in October 2026. Treat it as a historical indication, not a current Epic confirmation. See the community-maintained item history.
Epic’s v42.20 notes, dated September 17, 2026, and v42.30 notes, dated October 1, 2026, do not mention the item. Their silence does not prove that it is either available or disabled. Epic’s v42.20 notes and v42.30 notes are the relevant recent release records.
What Epic documented about Creative and UEFN
Epic’s notes concern Creative/UEFN behavior, which should not be confused with Battle Royale availability.

- v37.10: Epic listed the Precision Air Strike among new items for the UEFN content browser. Read the v37.10 ecosystem updates.
- v37.20: Epic documented fixes for a failure to fire when the consumables Infinite setting was enabled, and for the item destroying structures when Environment Damage was off. These are Creative/UEFN fixes, not an explanation for a Battle Royale removal. Read the v37.20 ecosystem updates.
- v38.10: An Epic Developer Community report said the item no longer charged and fired in UEFN. The report described the issue tracker as confirming the problem and awaiting assignment or triage. It documents a reported Creative/UEFN bug at that time, not a general disablement notice. Read the v38.10 community report.
Why was it disabled?
No official reason for a Battle Royale disablement is established in these sources. The v38.10 UEFN report does not connect its reported bug to a decision to remove the item from Battle Royale, and Epic’s v37.20 fixes address Creative/UEFN settings rather than a Battle Royale removal. It would be speculation to say the Creative bug caused a Battle Royale vaulting.

Availability can differ by mode, so check the mode you intend to play rather than relying on a general claim that the item is “disabled.” Look for a current Epic announcement or playlist-specific update for Battle Royale or Zero Build; for Creative/UEFN, check the current ecosystem notes and whether the item works in the relevant island settings. The cited release notes do not settle either mode’s present status.
