Where did it rank?
The edition debuted at No. 8. Nintendo Life identifies it as the physical retail release; Famitsu’s entry names the platform as Nintendo Switch 2, the publisher as Nintendo, and the release date as October 1, 2026. Nintendo Life’s chart coverage places it above No. 9 Splatoon Raiders (5,403) and No. 10 Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream (5,318). The No. 1 title was Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve (63,013), followed by Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered on PS5 (18,724).
What Famitsu’s estimate includes
Famitsu says its figures are estimates based on information available when the chart was compiled. Its software ranking combines packaged software, download cards, and preinstalled versions. The 5,780 figure therefore should not be described as a physical-only measurement, even though Nintendo Life describes this chart entry as the new physical retail release.
