Just A DVD Incremental takes the familiar wait for a bouncing DVD logo to hit a screen corner and turns it into an idle progression game. You watch the logo bounce, earn rewards, buy upgrades, and work toward that corner hit. A free Steam demo is listed as released on September 23, 2026; the full game is planned for December 7, 2026.
How does Just A DVD Incremental work?
The game builds an incremental loop around the old DVD-player screensaver: the logo moves around the screen, and each bounce earns progress or rewards. Players can spend those rewards on upgrades to the logo’s speed, efficiency, and effects, with the familiar corner hit remaining the goal. Steam’s description outlines the upgrade premise, while Dexerto’s October 1, 2026 coverage reports that bounces earn rewards.
What is in the Steam demo?
The free demo, listed as released September 23, 2026, offers an early hands-on look at the core experience and its initial upgrades. Its Steam page describes deeper upgrades, cosmetics, visual trail effects, and additional logos as planned for the full version; those are future additions, not features confirmed as available in the demo.
When does the full game come out, and what platforms are listed?
The Steam listing plans the full release for December 7, 2026, on Windows. That is a scheduled date, not confirmation that the game has launched. The listing names kealsoft-labs as developer and kealsoft as publisher, and includes single-player, Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing.

What PC does it require?
The Steam system requirements list Windows 10, a “Pretty Old” processor, built-in graphics, and 1 GB of available storage as the minimum. The recommended listing names Windows 10, a Ryzen 7 7700X, an AMD 7900 XTX, and 4 GB of storage. The developer qualifies that unusually high recommendation: “This is just the best spec I tested on. I’m sure it does not remotely need this much power to function optimally.” Treat those components as the best configuration the developer tested, not as a proven requirement for the game to run well.
What is known—and not yet established
The official Steam pages describe the demo, planned release, features, and hardware listings, but no independent performance test or hands-on review is established here. The available information therefore explains the game’s concept and what its listings promise; it does not verify how smoothly it runs or how enjoyable its progression is in practice.
