Its reported effective launch price was 879 yuan—about $123 at the time—rather than a confirmed worldwide price. The launch coverage also reported a regular price of 1,099 yuan.
What was the price and where did it launch?
IT Home reported the X71Q listing on JD.com on April 28, 2024, at a regular price of 1,099 yuan and an effective promotional price of 879 yuan. Gizmochina’s April 29 report converted the discounted figure to approximately $123. That conversion is a historical reference, not a current US price: exchange rates, taxes, shipping, import charges and retailer offers affect what an overseas buyer would pay.
The available launch reports establish a China-market listing, but do not establish an official US or broader international release. Koorui’s current US catalog lists other QHD gaming monitors, not the X71Q. Buyers should not assume that an import listing has the same warranty or return terms as a locally sold model.

These specifications were reported by IT Home and Gizmochina. The launch reports do not provide a complete manual or independent test results, so the port limits and performance claims should be treated accordingly.

What does “2K 180Hz” mean for gaming?
QHD resolution at 27 inches
Here, “2K” means 2560×1440, commonly called QHD or 1440p—not cinema-standard 2K, typically 2048×1080. At 27 inches, QHD provides a sharper image and more desktop space than 1920×1080. Driving games at native resolution also asks more of a graphics card, particularly when aiming for high frame rates.
What 180Hz adds
A 180Hz screen can refresh roughly every 5.56 milliseconds, compared with about 6.94ms at 144Hz and 16.67ms at 60Hz. When a PC can produce enough frames, the higher refresh ceiling can make motion appear smoother. It does not by itself guarantee lower total input latency or better gameplay: results also depend on the game, GPU, settings, connection, pixel behavior and synchronization.

Panel and motion claims
Fast IPS is intended to balance motion performance and wide viewing angles. IPS panels commonly have lower native contrast than VA panels, but the launch reports give no X71Q contrast measurement. The stated 1ms GTG response time is not proof that every pixel transition completes in one millisecond or that motion is free of ghosting.
The reports also list DIC motion-blur reduction, which they say requires a refresh rate of at least 120Hz, plus presets for RPG, FPS and RCG games and hardware-level low-blue-light functionality. They do not quantify the effects of these features.

What should buyers make of the color and HDR specifications?
The reported ΔE≤2, 95% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB figures are specifications, not independent confirmation of calibrated image quality. Color uniformity, gamma, white point and color volume require measurement. Likewise, HDR10 support establishes a reported signal feature, not proof of high brightness, local dimming or compelling HDR image quality; no HDR brightness test or certification is supplied in the launch coverage.
The reports also mention FreeSync and G-Sync compatibility, but do not state the supported variable-refresh-rate range or establish performance across that range. Compatibility labels should not be read as a guarantee of flawless operation with every GPU and refresh setting.

Is the X71Q worth importing now?
On paper, the combination of QHD, 180Hz Fast IPS and an adjustable stand made the X71Q notable at its discounted China launch price. That is not enough to establish how it performs in practice: the available coverage does not measure input lag, pixel response, overshoot, contrast, brightness uniformity, VRR flicker or HDR output.
For an overseas buyer, compare the full delivered cost and support terms—not just the converted 879-yuan price. Importing can involve shipping, taxes or duties, different power requirements, documentation or firmware language, return costs and difficulty obtaining warranty service. These are purchasing risks, not reported defects in the monitor.

Koorui’s current US listings provide context, but they are different products and their listed prices and stock can change. Its 27E6QCA is a curved QHD 180Hz VA model listed at $160 and shown as sold out/back in stock; the G2722P is a flat QHD IPS model rated up to 200Hz, listed at $170 and shown as sold out.
