Kraft Heinz has announced Kraft Mac & Cheese Cheesy Ramen, a new line of actual ramen noodles with the brand’s signature cheese positioning. The company expects it to reach stores nationwide in early 2027. The three announced varieties are Spicy, Chicken and Pork; an exact release date, price, package size and nutrition facts have not been provided.
What is Kraft Cheesy Ramen?
Kraft Mac & Cheese Cheesy Ramen is a planned ramen product that combines ramen-style noodles and flavors with Kraft’s familiar cheesy profile. Kraft Heinz describes the launch as the brand’s move into a new category for the first time in nearly 20 years. Kraft Heinz’s announcement positions it as a way to bring the brand into a format consumers already customize with cheese.
What flavors does Kraft ramen come in?
Kraft Heinz announced three varieties:
- Spicy: cheese paired with a bold kick.
- Chicken: cheese alongside the umami flavor of chicken ramen.
- Pork: pork ramen notes combined with the brand’s familiar cheese taste.
The company says the product is made without artificial flavors, preservatives or dyes. That is Kraft Heinz’s formulation statement; the announcement does not provide ingredient lists or nutrition panels.
When does Kraft Cheesy Ramen come out?
Kraft Heinz expects nationwide availability in early 2027, but has not announced a specific shelf date or named any retailers. It also has not disclosed a price or package size. Is Kraft making ramen or ramen-flavored mac and cheese?
This announcement is for cheesy ramen, not the existing Chicken Ramen Flavored Mac & Cheese. The latter is macaroni and cheese with chicken-ramen flavor; the new line is ramen with Kraft’s cheese positioning. Kraft’s product catalog lists the existing mac-and-cheese product separately.
Why is Kraft launching cheesy ramen?
Kraft Mac & Cheese Vice President of Marketing Nicolas Henault said the company sees growing U.S. interest in cheesy ramen and in bold flavors and new ways to enjoy familiar foods. That is Kraft Heinz’s stated rationale, not an independently established consumer trend. The company says the launch fits its effort to take established brands into categories and eating occasions where it sees interest, following its Kraft Mac & Cheese PowerMac release. It also points to the familiar practice of adding cheese to ramen, including to temper the perceived heat of spicy varieties.

What does Kraft say about the ramen market?
Kraft Heinz’s announcement cites IRI Circana data for a U.S. ramen category valued at $2.7 billion and growing 9% year over year. It also says the cheesy ramen segment doubled over three years. These are company-reported figures, not independently verified here. The release’s footnote gives a Circana category definition but its period-end year is truncated, so the measurement window cannot be stated precisely.
