What is Lagiacrus?
Lagiacrus is a Leviathan first introduced in Monster Hunter Tri. Its signature mix of water attacks and lightning powers returns in Monster Hunter Wilds. Capcom’s July 18, 2025 Snapshots feature identifies it as a Leviathan and shows it in the Scarlet Forest and underwater.

How to unlock Lagiacrus in Monster Hunter Wilds
Icy Veins’ guide, last updated July 2, 2025, lists Hunter Rank 31, the Scarlet Forest, and speaking with Erik as part of the encounter unlock. It also names prerequisite missions. Because quest progression can be version-sensitive, use the current quest markers and requirements in your save if they differ from that guide.

How to approach the fight
Expect two environments
The encounter spans shore and underwater combat, so be ready to adapt as the fight shifts between them. Capcom’s feature confirms both settings; the exact demands of a fight can depend on the encounter and game version.
Prepare for water and lightning
Lagiacrus uses water-based attacks alongside lightning powers. Icy Veins lists Fire, Ice, or Dragon elemental weapons as options for dealing damage; treat that as the guide’s recommendation, not a universal best choice. Your weapon familiarity, build, and available equipment also matter.

Capcom’s Japanese e-Capcom store lists a “Monster Hunter Mondefo Lagiacrus Plush.” The page gives a price of ¥3,850, delivery beginning March 12, 2026, approximate dimensions of H190 × W180 × D240 mm, and polyester as the material. Its stock indicator showed the plush as unavailable when checked on October 8, 2026; prices and availability can change.

The 20th-anniversary exhibition merchandise catalog documents other historical Lagiacrus products, including a big-print T-shirt and acrylic display collectibles. Those examples establish that the character has appeared on official merchandise, not that those items are currently for sale. Current stock across retailers, sellers, and prices is not established here.
For retailer searches, “Monster Hunter Lagiacrus plush” is a directly relevant phrase, but confirm the seller, product identity, and stock before purchasing.
