A 2024 VideoCardz report attributed to leaker Golden Pig Upgrade Pack said AMD was expected to offer four Radeon RX 8000M laptop GPU SKUs, with up to 16 GB of memory and up to 175 W. Those were unconfirmed leak claims, not AMD specifications. AMD’s later official material announced RDNA 4 desktop graphics as the Radeon RX 9000 Series; the reviewed official sources do not confirm that the alleged RX 8000M lineup reached retail.
What the RX 8000M leak claimed
VideoCardz reported that AMD’s alleged Radeon RX 8000M laptop family would include four SKUs. The same report gave upper limits of 16 GB of memory and 175 W. These figures describe what the leak claimed; they are not confirmed product specifications. VideoCardz’s report attributed the information to Golden Pig Upgrade Pack.
The report does not establish model names, individual configurations, performance, launch timing, or retail availability for the four alleged laptop GPUs. There is therefore no confirmed four-model RX 8000M range to rank or recommend.
Do not confuse it with a separate four-variant rumor
A separate VideoCardz article dated August 27, 2024 discussed four alleged Navi 4X variants: R24D-E6, R24D-E8, R25D-P4, and R25D-P8. That article characterized its details as speculation. Those codes belong to broader RX 8000/RDNA 4 rumor coverage; they are not the four laptop SKUs in the RX 8000M report. Read the separate Navi 4X speculation report.
