LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight runs at a reviewer-reported 30 fps on Switch 2, with occasional drops and softer visuals than other platforms. Meristation describes dynamic resolution as 1080p docked and 720p handheld, but Nintendo does not publish those figures as specifications. Loading can feel a little long, according to Nintendo Everything, though no timed comparison is available.
What performance should you expect on Switch 2?
Meristation reports a 30 fps presentation and says frame rate can become unstable in scenes with many elements on screen, although it describes the issue as not severe. Nintendo Life likewise characterizes play as generally good, with occasional frame drops. These are review observations, not results from a published benchmark or frame-time test.
Neither review identifies a build or patch version, and Nintendo’s official listing does not state a frame rate. The reports therefore describe reviewers’ experience rather than a guaranteed performance specification.
What resolution and visual quality does it use?
Meristation describes dynamic resolution with figures of 1080p docked and 720p handheld. These are reviewer-reported figures, not an official Nintendo target or confirmation of a fixed native resolution. The review also notes that there is no selectable quality or performance mode.

| Mode | Resolution reported by Meristation | Visual notes |
|---|---|---|
| Docked | Dynamic resolution described as 1080p | Meristation reports softer distant textures, pop-in while driving, and less lighting and water detail than on home consoles. |
| Handheld | Dynamic resolution described as 720p | Nintendo Life says the background texture differences are less noticeable in handheld play. |
Nintendo Life also reports noticeable pop-in when moving quickly through Gotham and blurry background textures compared with other platforms. These are qualitative review comparisons, not controlled side-by-side measurements; neither review supplies captured-resolution analysis or a standardized visual test.
Are the load times long?
Nintendo Everything says loading can feel “a little long,” particularly given the amount of Gotham being loaded. The review does not provide times in seconds, and the available coverage does not establish a measured loading-speed comparison with another platform.
