Yes: Lenovo sells Gen 10 Legion Pro 7 laptops with a factory-installed GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU. It is not a graphics card you can add later like a desktop component. The exact configuration matters: Lenovo’s Intel Legion Pro 7i and AMD Legion Pro 7 use different model numbers, and current Lenovo documentation lists an RTX 5090 option for the Intel platform as well as the RTX 5080.
Which Legion Pro 7 has the RTX 5080?
“Legion Pro 7” can refer to more than one Gen 10 laptop. Lenovo identifies the Intel model as the Legion Pro 7 16IAX10H, also marketed as the Legion Pro 7i Gen 10. Its AMD counterpart is the Legion Pro 7 16AFR10H. Retail listings sometimes shorten or rearrange these names, so check the model number and complete specification rather than relying on “Legion 7” in a headline.

Lenovo’s US listing identifies a Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 with RTX 5080, while its PSREF documents the GPU as a factory configuration. Lenovo says specifications and availability can vary by model and region. Lenovo’s RTX 5080 product listing and the Intel PSREF are useful starting points for confirming a particular model.

The Intel 16IAX10H PSREF, updated in April 2026, lists RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5080, and RTX 5090 configurations. The cited AMD 16AFR10H documentation lists the RTX 5080 as its highest GPU option. That makes “up to RTX 5080” accurate for an RTX 5080 configuration or the cited AMD model, but not a complete description of every current Legion Pro 7i configuration. What the RTX 5080 configuration offers
On the Intel platform, Lenovo lists the RTX 5080 Laptop GPU with 16GB of GDDR7 memory, a 175W total graphics power (TGP) rating, a 2,287MHz boost clock and up to 1,334 AI TOPS. The power rating is an important part of the specification: laptop GPUs with the same name can perform differently when configured for different power limits and cooling systems. A commonly listed Intel configuration pairs the GPU with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX. Retail bundles vary: the cited B&H listing shows 32GB of DDR5, a 2TB SSD and a 16-inch 2560×1600 OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate. Other listings may have 1TB storage or a different panel. The Intel model includes Wi-Fi 7, 2.5Gb Ethernet and Thunderbolt 4 among its connectivity options; the Lenovo user guide specifies a 400W power adapter for the 7-series models. What performance can you expect?
A 175W RTX 5080 is a high-power laptop GPU intended for demanding games and workloads, but benchmark results depend on the exact laptop, firmware and performance mode. PC Gamer reviewed a Legion Pro 7i configuration with a 175W RTX 5080 and reported these results in its game tests:

These are results from one reviewer’s tested configuration, not guaranteed frame rates for every unit; the cited test figures do not establish that all games used the same ray-tracing or upscaling settings. They do illustrate why a 240Hz panel should not be read as a promise of 240 frames per second in demanding games at high settings. Display: check the panel on the exact SKU
The 16-inch 2560×1600, 16:10 OLED option combines deep blacks and wide color with a high refresh rate; some listed configurations reach 240Hz and support G-SYNC. Lenovo’s user guide also lists a 165Hz display variant, so neither OLED nor 240Hz should be assumed for every Legion Pro 7. HDR certification and other panel details can differ by SKU. RAM and SSDs can be upgraded; the GPU is a purchase-time choice
Lenovo’s guide documents two DDR5 memory slots and two M.2 storage slots, with support for 2242 or 2280 M.2 drives. Those are the practical upgrade paths: adding or changing memory and expanding storage, subject to the exact model’s compatibility and capacity limits.
Lenovo does not document a user GPU replacement procedure or graphics-card upgrade path for this laptop. Buy the RTX 5080 configuration if that is the GPU you want; do not treat “up to RTX 5080” as meaning the machine can be upgraded to it later. If you may add an SSD, check which slot is free and the drive’s physical fit before ordering.

Lenovo’s Intel PSREF lists the RTX 5070 Ti with 12GB GDDR7 and a 140W TGP, compared with 16GB and 175W for the RTX 5080. The 5080’s extra memory and higher power envelope are most relevant if you expect to play demanding games at the laptop’s native 2560×1600 resolution, use ray tracing, or run GPU-heavy creative workloads. They do not by themselves specify a fixed percentage performance advantage; the price gap and the exact games or applications matter.
If the 5070 Ti version costs substantially less and you mostly play lighter or competitive games, the extra GPU headroom may be poor value. Conversely, buyers targeting demanding 1600p gaming or workloads that benefit from more graphics memory have a clearer reason to pay for the 5080. Compare complete configurations, including screen, RAM and SSD, rather than comparing GPU names alone.

- Size and power: This is a desktop-replacement class machine, not an ultraportable. Lenovo specifies a 400W adapter, which adds to the load you carry.
- Battery and performance: Gaming performance is best assessed while plugged in and using an appropriate performance mode. PC Gamer reported barely more than 70 minutes in its PCMark gaming test; that is a test-specific result, not a general office-use battery estimate.
- Heat and noise: Notebookcheck noted that the laptop can become hot and loud under full load. Sustained high-power gaming has a comfort trade-off, and results vary with workload and conditions.
- Storage: A 1TB bundle can fill quickly with large games. Verify whether it includes a second drive and whether you will need an SSD upgrade.
- OLED use: OLED’s contrast and color are attractive, but the panel can be glossy and less comfortable in bright surroundings. Check Lenovo’s current warranty and panel policies for image retention or burn-in rather than assuming coverage.

Price and buying checks
Legion prices and stock change by retailer, region and SKU, so old deal figures are context, not live quotes. PC Gamer reported a $2,599.99 Best Buy price on May 21, 2026, for its cited configuration, compared with a listed $4,249.99 price. Notebookcheck reported a $2,649 B&H price on July 12, 2026, describing it as $850 below Lenovo’s listed price. Before checkout, match the product number to Lenovo’s regional documentation and verify:
- Whether it is the Intel 16IAX10H or AMD 16AFR10H, and whether the listing explicitly says RTX 5080.
- The GPU power rating, display type and refresh rate, RAM capacity, SSD capacity and Windows edition.
- Current stock, final price, seller authorization, local warranty validity and return period.
- Whether the listed weight, charger and expected unplugged use suit how you will carry and use the laptop.
Who should buy the RTX 5080 model?
It suits buyers who want a powerful, mostly plugged-in 16-inch system for high-end 1600p gaming, ray tracing, rendering, video work or other GPU-intensive tasks, and who value an OLED option enough to accept the laptop’s size, heat and fan noise. It is less compelling for travelers who need long battery life, buyers prioritizing quiet or light hardware, and esports players whose main target is high frame rates at 1080p. A desktop is the better route if you prioritize component replacement and sustained performance over portability.
