Lenovo’s MWC 2026 showcase in Barcelona featured two eye-catching gaming and creator hardware concepts: the glasses-free Yoga Book Pro 3D Concept and the foldable Legion Go Fold Concept. Neither was announced as a retail product. Lenovo also introduced new Yoga, IdeaPad, Legion and tablet devices, alongside its cross-device Lenovo Qira software platform.
The announcements were made on March 2, 2026, according to the body of Lenovo’s releases, although the company’s MWC press-kit listing displays March 1. The company’s consumer announcement and broader MWC release distinguish the experimental devices from products intended for commercial availability.
Yoga Book Pro 3D Concept: a glasses-free creator workstation idea
The Yoga Book Pro 3D Concept is more than a laptop with a stereoscopic display. Lenovo is presenting it as a complete 3D-creation workflow built around two displays, AI tools and alternative input methods.

Lenovo says its AI software can convert 2D material into 3D and generate a surrounding environment for a converted object. That could help creators turn a reference image or other 2D source into a rough 3D starting point, but Lenovo has not supplied independent evidence that the generated assets are suitable for production work.

An RGB camera enables what Lenovo calls “zero touch” gestures, including zooming and rotating objects. Snap-on control pads provide additional adjustments for lighting, viewing angle and tone. In principle, this keeps the main 3D canvas visible while controls remain on the lower panel.
Lenovo lists an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU and dual Lenovo PureSight Pro Tandem OLED displays for the concept configuration. Those specifications do not establish the exact processor model, power limits, sustained performance, cooling, fan noise or battery life.
What the Yoga concept is trying to change
Lenovo’s pitch is aimed at reducing the friction of working with 3D content. Creators would not need to switch constantly between a 2D reference and a separate 3D preview, wear dedicated glasses to inspect depth, or cover the primary canvas with controls.

Glasses-free 3D can depend on viewing position, eye tracking, content format and lighting. Gesture controls may be convenient for broad manipulation but less precise than a mouse, pen or keyboard. Lenovo has not announced the supported modeling applications, file formats, software development tools, eye-tracking requirements or whether the AI conversion runs locally, in the cloud or through a hybrid system.
It is also unclear whether the 3D panel can operate as a conventional 2D display, whether the effect is comfortable during long sessions, and how the dual-screen design affects weight, thermals and battery life.

Legion Go Fold Concept: a handheld that changes shape
The Legion Go Fold Concept is a foldable handheld gaming PC proof of concept. Its POLED display expands from 7.7 inches to 11.6 inches, and the device uses detachable Legion Go-style controllers.
Lenovo lists an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor, 32GB of RAM and a 48Wh battery. The release does not identify a GPU, display resolution, refresh rate, storage capacity, operating system, weight, ports or battery-life estimate, so those numbers cannot be used to predict gaming performance.
The right controller can function as a vertical mouse and includes a small display and touch surface for metrics, settings and a customizable hotkey. Lenovo also describes an included wireless keyboard with a touchpad for desktop-style use. The controller may be useful for first-person shooters and basic desktop navigation, but it should not automatically be treated as a replacement for a full-size mouse.
The four Legion Go Fold modes
- Standard Handheld Mode: the 7.7-inch screen is used with the controllers attached.
- Vertical Split-Screen Mode: the display folds upward so one area can show a game while another shows a stream, guide or walkthrough.
- Horizon Full Screen Mode: the display rotates 90 degrees and expands to 11.6 inches for larger-screen gaming.
- Expanded Desktop Mode: the system works with the wireless keyboard and touchpad for gaming, browsing, streaming or work.
The concept’s appeal is its flexibility: it could be a compact handheld in one situation, a larger gaming screen in another and a small desktop computer in a third. The trade-offs are just as important. A folding panel introduces hinge, crease, durability and repair concerns. The larger mode could make the device awkward or top-heavy, while a 48Wh battery may face heavy demands from a PC-class processor and a larger high-refresh display. Detachable controllers also introduce additional charging, pairing, storage and connection points.
Lenovo has not announced a launch date, price or retail configuration for the Legion Go Fold. Its stated specifications describe the concept demonstration, not a confirmed shipping product.

Lenovo Qira brings the AI focus across devices
Lenovo Qira is the company’s proposed Personal Ambient Intelligence system. Lenovo positions it as a system-level experience rather than an ordinary standalone assistant application.
The company says Qira is designed to work across supported Lenovo PCs, tablets, smartphones and wearables, maintaining continuity between tasks and devices. It may use context from applications and workflows, suggest actions during active sessions and operate when users grant the required permissions.
Lenovo announced an initial rollout across more than 20 Lenovo PC devices through updates and preloads, with support for six languages across nine regions. The company says support will expand to additional devices and Motorola smartphones during 2026.
That is a rollout plan, not independent confirmation of Qira’s real-world performance or final privacy model. Before relying on it, users will need clear information about permissions, what data is processed locally, what leaves the device, how long context is retained and which features work in each region. Lenovo identifies the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 as the first tablet to feature Qira.

Alongside the concepts, Lenovo announced a broader consumer portfolio. These products are commercial announcements, but availability and pricing information in the cited releases is primarily regional, especially for EMEA, and should not be treated as universal U.S. launch information.

What can you actually buy?
Lenovo did not provide a retail price, launch date or standard purchase path for either the Yoga Book Pro 3D Concept or the Legion Go Fold Concept. They should be treated as demonstrations of possible future products, not imminent launches.
The Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition, Yoga Pro 7a, Idea Tab Pro Gen 2, Legion 7a and Legion Tab are the more relevant products for buyers comparing currently announced hardware. However, the cited material does not establish verified current U.S. prices for those models. Check Lenovo’s U.S. store for live configurations and availability.
- For the Yoga 3D concept’s creator focus, the Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition or Yoga Pro 7a are the closest announced Lenovo options, but neither offers the concept’s glasses-free 3D workflow.
- For the Legion Go Fold’s gaming angle, the Legion Tab or an available Legion Go model are more conventional options, but neither provides the foldable 7.7-to-11.6-inch display described here.
- For Qira experimentation, the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 is the relevant announced device, although the service’s staged rollout and regional support should be checked before purchase.
What Lenovo’s showcase means
Lenovo’s MWC portfolio points in three directions: more adaptable physical designs, AI integrated into everyday device experiences, and hardware that bridges gaming, productivity and creator workflows.
The two headline concepts are valuable mainly as demonstrations of those ideas. The Yoga Book Pro 3D explores how a laptop could make 3D content easier to inspect and manipulate. The Legion Go Fold explores whether one portable PC can move convincingly between handheld gaming, split-screen use, large-screen play and desktop work.

Whether either idea deserves a place in a buyer’s shortlist depends on information Lenovo has not yet provided: final pricing, software support, battery life, ergonomics, durability and regional availability. For now, the accurate takeaway is not that Lenovo launched a 3D creator PC or a foldable Legion Go. It showed two concepts that may influence future products, while the announced Yoga, IdeaPad, Legion and tablet models represent the practical buying options from the event.
