The most specific guide documents ten named stashes, while a community video lists 23 stops using a broader definition. Both are useful for planning a route, but neither should be treated as the final count. Treat the locations below as directions to check in-game, not exact coordinates.
How to route through the Lesser Zone
The most practical approach is to use Zalissya as a base. Make short loops out from it, and return to manage inventory when your carry weight gets heavy. The Position Is Everything guide, published May 20, 2026, recommends starting from Zalissya and checking above and below the obvious map marker, because markers often point to an area rather than to a visible container.
- North: Follow the main road north from Zalissya and check the Post Office, the crashed helicopter beside it, and the sewer entrances nearby.
- East: Head toward the Sphere. Check the outer wall of the Sphere facility and the crate there, which is also one of the Journalist’s Stashes covered below.
- South: Work around the checkpoints, roads, pipes and anomaly fields. Dire Thicket, the Radiation Hazard Sign Storage buildings and the Water Tower are the stops with the most documented detail.
- West: Move toward Old Mill, the surrounding farms, the Ribs anomaly and the river crossings. Fence’s Stash is the most specific entry in this direction.
The ten documented stashes
All ten entries below come from the Selphie1999Gaming guide, originally published November 27, 2024. The guide’s contents lists are shown where it gives them. Where it does not, the table says “not stated” rather than guessing.

Checking the hard-to-see spots
Several of these caches are above ground level or behind an obstacle. The Post Office roof, the Water Tower top and the rafters in the abandoned building are all vertical spaces. The guide specifically advises checking attics, rooftops, sheds, wrecks, culverts and debris, not only ground-level clutter.

Journalist’s Stashes are a separate category
GameSpot identifies three Journalist’s Stashes in the Lesser Zone. They are not included in the ten-stash count above, and they reward gear rather than general supplies.

These are GameSpot’s descriptions, and the reward names may vary by game version, so check the exact reward against your own copy of the game before you rely on it.

Why the counts differ
Two guides give different totals because they use different rules for what counts as a stash. The Steam Community video, published in 2025 under the title “STALKER 2 Lesser Zone All Stashes & Locations (23 Stashes),” is a user-made video with timestamps. It lists 23 numbered stops, and it is a checklist of leads, not an official inventory:
- Zhorik’s Stash at the fallen helicopter
- Post Office
- Boiler House
- Magnetic Cave
- Underground Sewer
- Two Levitating Silo stashes
- Deaf Meadow
- Radiation-sign storage
- Zalissya Bar
- Two Northern Checkpoint stops
- Baptist Hill
- Two Pol Depot stops
- Three Poppy Field stops
- A Stalker’s Stash
- Wastewater Treatment Plant
- Sukhin’s Stash at Sphere
- Perimeter Decontamination Center
- Central Checkpoint
Only some of these stops match the ten documented stashes by name. The video does not give directions for most of them, so you will need to find them in-game. The sources do not explain how the two lists were built, and neither one is a developer-published total.

Hazards and looting advice
The Position Is Everything guide gives the following advice. It is the author’s guidance, not verified testing:
- Check anomaly paths with bolts before walking through them.
- Carry bandages and medical supplies, since several caches sit in dangerous areas.
- Watch for dogs, bandits, soldiers and mutants around the stash areas.
- Check vertical spaces as well as ground level.
- Expect carry weight to climb quickly, because looting adds weight.
Some caches are tied to quests or hazards. The sewer stash is linked to “Behind the Seven Seals,” and Fence’s Stash is placed near gravitational anomalies, so plan those visits with the quest or anomaly in mind.

What the sources do not establish
- A full count. No developer-authored, coordinate-level inventory of Lesser Zone stashes was found. The ten-stash and 23-stop lists should be treated as partial.
- Whether a cache can be permanently missed. The sources reviewed do not address this, so check your save and quest progress before leaving an area.
- Whether rewards are randomized. The sources do not say whether a container’s contents change between playthroughs.
- Unpretentious Stash in Sphere. A secondary keypad-code list gives the code 2765 for this stash. That list is a low-confidence source, so verify the code in-game before using it.
For now, the most reliable way to build a complete list is to use the named stashes above as a starting point, compare the Steam video’s numbered stops against your own map, and mark each cache you find so you can see which categories are still missing.
