Liberty Falls has a main Zombies quest and a set of optional secrets, but no verified, permanently complete list of every Easter egg. This guide covers the main quest route and the side activities documented by Zombies Codex, whose Liberty Falls page was updated September 8, 2026. Secret triggers and rewards can change with patches.
What to do first: choose the main quest or side secrets
The main quest is the story-driven route through the map, ending in a multi-wave fight at the S.D.G. machine. Side Easter eggs are optional activities with their own triggers and rewards. The main quest can be completed solo or with a squad; teammates can help with timed steps. The side activities vary: some are quick interactions, while Aetherella requires the Jet Gun.

How to complete the Liberty Falls main Easter egg
The quest route runs from the church to the bank rooftop and then back through the map’s storm sites and projectors before the finale. PowerPyx and GameSpot also describe the quest’s Jet Gun and L.T.G. setup; the detailed sequence below follows the documented steps in Zombies Codex.
- Reach Hilltop Church and start the story. Open the route to the church, then interact with the S.D.G. machine. The church is a central progression destination on Liberty Falls.
- Build the Thrustodyne M23 Jet Gun. Collect its three parts: the water pressure gauge, handbrake, and electrical wires. The gauge route involves a valve at the flower shop and a pressure panel at Liberty Lanes; the handbrake is in the Groundskeeper’s shed; the wires are in the Radio House. Assemble the parts into the Jet Gun.
- Collect and craft the L.T.G. Use the Jet Gun to retrieve the three L.T.G. parts, then build the device on the bank rooftop.
- Capture the two HVTs. Use the Aether canister and field traps to capture the essence of each high-value target at the storm sites. Complete both captures as the quest requires.
- Calibrate the projectors. Use the Strauss Counter at the three projectors to calibrate them.
- Prepare for the S.D.G. shutdown. Return to the church and begin the shutdown encounter only when ready. The documented finale has three waves; its last wave includes an elite Mangler and an Abomination. Survive the encounter to complete the quest.
The timed storm and capture stages are the steps where a squad can be useful, though the quest is solo-capable. The detailed item locations and interactions can be patch-sensitive, so consult current in-game prompts if an interaction behaves differently.

The activities below are documented secrets, not a definitive count of everything hidden on the map. Activision’s Liberty Falls map guide describes the map as having “plenty of secrets to discover,” without listing them all.
“Destroy Something Beautiful” song
Interact with all three Mr. Peeks headphones to trigger the song, “Destroy Something Beautiful,” credited to Kevin Sherwood featuring Cristina Scabbia. The headphones are in the Motor Lodge alley, on the Washington Avenue stairs, and in the Dark Aether Church.

Free Deadshot Daiquiri challenge
Complete the long-range can-shooting challenge without missing to earn the documented free Deadshot Daiquiri reward. Accuracy is the condition: a missed shot means the challenge is not completed as described.
Savings & Loan bank vault
Find three two-digit code fragments: one at the bank reception, one under a beer bucket at Liberty Lanes, and one on a shelf in Olly’s Comics. Combine them into the six-digit code, which changes by match. Opening the vault costs 500 Essence; Loot Keys can be used on the deposit boxes inside.

Aetherella transformation
Use the Jet Gun to vacuum nine Aetherella figures: four inside Olly’s Comics and one each at the Motor Lodge, church, flower shop, Liberty Lanes, and the Yummy Freeze rooftop. Completing the set transforms the player for about 90 seconds, granting invincibility and eye lasers according to the documented guide. The interaction may be affected by patches.
Liberty Lanes bowling and the “Strike!” Dark Ops challenge
Shoot Mr. Peeks bowling shoes visible in zombie windows at five locations to trigger the bowling minigame. The guide says scoring above 300 completes the “Strike!” Dark Ops challenge.

- Dancing Zombies: a separate optional secret documented by the guide.
- Raining Zombies: a trigger that causes zombies to rain down.
- Hidden one-use power-ups: the map has concealed targets that reveal one-use power-ups when activated.
