Netmarble publishes Revolution, whose cited listings describe a mobile game centered on open-world combat, PvP, raids and clan play. NCSOFT presents Lineage2M for mobile and PC through its PURPLE platform. Both promote large-scale multiplayer, but the official descriptions do not establish a precise comparison of combat feel, progression or spending systems.

These are official feature descriptions, not results from a side-by-side gameplay test. The player-count figures are promotional claims in Revolution’s store copy, not independent performance measurements.
How do their advertised gameplay features differ?
Lineage 2: Revolution: mobile PvP, raids and siege
Netmarble’s store listings frame Revolution as a mobile open-world MMORPG with real-time PvP, raids, clan or guild play, and Fortress Siege. The 50-versus-50 siege format is a specific advertised feature; it does not establish how a match feels in practice or how often players encounter it.
Lineage2M: classes, clan content and mobile-plus-PC access
NCSOFT’s official materials highlight a range of classes alongside siege, PvP and clan-centric content. They also identify PURPLE as the PC access option. That combination may matter to a player who wants an official PC route as well as mobile play, but availability and service particulars should be checked for the intended region.

The available official descriptions are not detailed enough to rank the games on combat responsiveness, progression speed, balance, or how much spending affects play.
Why does region matter for Lineage2M?
Lineage2M is not a single uniform regional service. In a March 31, 2025 announcement, NCSOFT said a Southeast Asian service was planned to launch on May 20, 2025, across Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and the Philippines, with five supported languages and a unified server across those countries. The announcement also described gameplay adjustments for that service. Those dates, countries, language support and changes describe the announced Southeast Asian offering; they should not be assumed to apply to other regions.

The same NCSOFT announcement said the game was also operated in Korea, Taiwan, Japan, North America and Europe at that time. This is dated regional information, not a live guarantee that the game is currently available in every country or through the same service arrangement. Check the local game site and app store before deciding.
Which one should a mobile player choose?
- Consider Revolution if its documented mobile focus and advertised open-world PvP, raids, clan play and Fortress Siege match what you want.
- Consider Lineage2M if you want a game NCSOFT presents for both mobile and PC through PURPLE, and that access is supported in your region.
- Check your local listings first if availability, language, regional service features or purchase options will decide the choice. Store listings and service details can change.
Neither game can be called universally better on the evidence of their official descriptions alone. Those descriptions do not provide a dependable basis for comparing moment-to-moment play or which game is less expensive.

What is established about cost?
The cited US Apple listing says Revolution is free to download and play, with some items available for real money. That does not establish its total cost to play, nor does it support a price comparison with Lineage2M. The reviewed NCSOFT materials do not provide matching current purchase details, so check the relevant regional store rather than assuming one game is cheaper or more pay-to-win.
