Which LOCKDOWN Protocol is this?
Mirage Creative Lab’s LOCKDOWN Protocol is a first-person multiplayer social-deduction game built around real-time action and communication. Players work together on timed objectives while hidden dissidents try to disrupt them; Steam lists support for 1 to 16 players. See the Steam store listing for the game’s description and current store details.
There is also a distinct, older Lockdown Protocol from FRACTiLE Games, described by its maker as a score-oriented shooter/platformer released for Windows and Linux in 2015. Its features and platform details do not apply to Mirage Creative Lab’s game. The separate title is documented on the FRACTiLE Games official page.
Can you play LOCKDOWN Protocol on Windows?
Yes. The Steam listing names Windows 10 as the minimum operating system and requires a 64-bit processor and operating system. These are the publisher/store’s stated minimum specifications, not a guarantee of a particular frame rate or performance level on every PC.

Steam’s listing does not establish a complete recommended-specification set here, so the minimums should not be read as recommended settings or as evidence that a PC will run the game smoothly. Check the current Steam listing before installing in case the requirements have changed.
Where to get the official Windows version
The game’s official account says, “The only official way of obtaining the game is through Steam.” Use its Steam product page to check current availability and install it through the Steam client. Price and regional availability can change, so consult the store for the details that apply to your account.

What Windows players should know about mods
The developer/publisher’s official announcements say external modifications used outside enabled modded lobbies are considered cheating and may be bannable. The game has a dedicated modded-lobby setting for sessions intended to use mods. Read the current official announcements and use the appropriate lobby setting rather than assuming a modification is permitted in an ordinary session.

Communication is part of the game’s stated design. A microphone-equipped headset can be useful for voice chat, but it is optional; the Steam minimum requirements specify broadband internet and do not list a headset as a requirement.
