Lostbound is a single-player roguelite action RPG from developer Tenkarider and publisher Tambù Digital. An October 6, 2026 announcement says it launched on Steam, but the Steam store page captured for this article still labels the full game “Coming soon.” Check the Steam listing for current purchase availability; the available information does not establish its price or regional availability.
What is Lostbound?
Lostbound is an adventure, indie and RPG title built around surviving in a dark, crumbling world. Steam describes the player as searching for artifacts while evading the Hand, a being of darkness that erases the path behind them and threatens to pull them into the Abyss. Its structure is a roguelite action RPG focused on route planning, expeditions and adapting between runs—not an open-ended RPG without a pressing survival loop.
The description on Steam establishes the premise and intended loop; it is not independent hands-on testing.
How does the Hand’s pressure system work?
The Hand makes movement itself a resource decision. As the world crumbles along ground the player has already traveled, repeatedly retracing a route risks losing it. Returning to a familiar area may be the obvious choice, but doing so can narrow the paths still available. Players must weigh where to go against the space and time their choices consume.

That pressure carries into dungeon runs: players search for needed artifacts and resources, then have to make it back to the surface before nightfall. Each expedition therefore asks not only what is worth collecting, but whether there is enough time to return.
What does a run involve?
Plan a route through a changing world
Choose where to travel with the collapsing path in mind. The Hand’s pursuit means a route that works on the way in may be less safe or usable on the way back.

Descend for artifacts and resources
Dungeons offer items players need, but the expedition has a return deadline. Pushing farther may bring a better opportunity while increasing the risk of being caught before reaching the surface.
Adapt between attempts
Steam says artifact placement and item sets vary by seed. Players can experiment with builds, and resources can be used for upgrades after failure, giving each attempt a chance to inform the next.

Is Lostbound out now on Steam?
The Gaming Ground’s October 6, 2026 press-release announcement reports that Tenkarider and publisher Tambù Digital launched Lostbound on PC via Steam, with a free demo still available. However, the Steam full-game listing captured for this article still showed “Coming soon.” Because those sources conflict, the announcement supports the reported launch date, but does not by itself confirm that checkout is currently available. Consult the live Steam page before relying on its purchase status, price or availability in your region.

Yes. The Steam demo listing says it was released on June 3, 2026. It covers the opening part of the world, including quests and progression to the first world-map boss, if the Hand does not catch the player first.
