Which Marvel Rivals characters were in the leak?
Forbes reporter Paul Tassi’s December 30, 2024, roundup named these characters, attributing the new datamining to X0X_Leak. Forbes said the 13-name total combined this batch with earlier leaks, many of which it said had official art. The list was a report of leaked material, not confirmation from the developers.

Forbes cautioned that the batch was not necessarily all intended for Season 1; its character count should not be mistaken for a promise that all 13 would arrive together. The roundup listed these proposed combinations. They were leak claims, not official announcements of playable abilities:

Forbes itself flagged the four-character Wolverine grouping as a possibility that might not happen. The game does have an official Team-Up Abilities feature, but that does not establish that any pairing in this leaked list was implemented.
Leaked map names
The three map labels in the report were Krakoa, Arakko and New York. They should be understood as names appearing in the leak roundup, not as confirmation that those maps were released or announced under those names.

Were the 13 characters and three maps confirmed?
No—not as a complete set. The report was published in December 2024 and presented datamined and previously leaked material. Its “13 characters” and “3 maps” are the roundup’s counts of rumors, not a verified development plan. The official Marvel Rivals site is the better source for the live game’s roster, maps and dated update notices; its changing directory does not retroactively confirm every claim in the 2024 report.
There is one notable later confirmation from the names in the roundup: NetEase announced in January 2026 that Deadpool would join Season 6. The same announcement said the Museum of Contemplation convoy map would launch with the January 29 update. That confirms Deadpool eventually became official content, but it does not validate the timing or accuracy of the other character, map or Team-Up leaks. How to read the leak now
Marvel Rivals is an evolving 6v6 shooter, and its official materials describe three hero roles—Vanguard, Duelist and Strategist—alongside Team-Up Abilities. Those official game systems provide context for the reported pairings; they are not evidence that the leaked combinations became live abilities. For what is available now, check the game’s official site and update notices rather than treating a 2024 leak list as a current upcoming-content roster.
