The event gift’s claim window has expired, so these are historical patch notes rather than the latest update.
Release timing and update details
The official Marvel Rivals Version 20250327 patch notes, posted March 26, 2025, scheduled the update for March 27 at 09:00 UTC. The notes said: “This update will be applied seamlessly, with no server downtime.”
Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure reward
The event included a special April Fool’s Easter Egg gift. To unlock it, players had to collect every reward in Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure. The claim window ran from April 1, 2025 at 00:00 UTC through April 4, 2025 at 00:00 UTC, so the gift can no longer be claimed.
New content
The patch notes list a Pick-Up Bundle as new content but do not provide further details about what it contained.

General
- In Custom Game match settlement, a disconnected player’s character could still appear on the Like page. This was fixed.
Maps and modes
- Several terrain issues that could trap characters or cause clipping were fixed.
- A terrain issue on Hydra Charteris Base could allow Rocket Raccoon’s B.R.B. to revive teammates outside the play area. That glitch was fixed.
Hero fixes
- Hulk’s behavior after Wolverine’s Feral Leap caused a terrain KO was fixed.
- Iron Fist’s wall-climbing issue in Practice Range was fixed.
- Iron Man’s Hyper-Velocity interaction with entering a portal in Sanctum Sanctorum was fixed.
- An issue involving Loki transformed into Doctor Strange using Pentagram of Farallah in Doom Match was fixed.
- Magneto’s post-match MVP visuals were fixed.
- Wolverine’s Ultimate issue under high network latency was fixed.
- Human Torch’s Primary Attack occasionally missing its target was fixed.
Console
- A chat-window issue that could shift focus to earlier messages was fixed.
