A documented Walmart promotion in February 2026 cut the 128GB Meta Quest 3S from $299.99 to $249.99 and included Batman: Arkham Shadow. That is a real $50 reduction, but the available pricing evidence does not confirm that the offer is still live. Before buying, check the current price and make sure the listing is explicitly for the Batman bundle—not just a Quest 3S.

UploadVR reported the Walmart $250 sale in February 2026. Treat $249.99 as a historical deal price, not a guaranteed price today. Retail prices, availability, tax and shipping can change; check the final checkout total and the product’s exact bundle description.
The $50 is the cash-price reduction from $299.99 to $249.99. The game adds value only if you want to play it; it should not be counted as another $50 in guaranteed savings. Some retailer bundles also advertise a three-month Meta Horizon+ trial, but that is a separate subscription benefit, not permanent ownership of a game library.

Make sure the listing actually includes Batman
Quest 3S listings can look alike while representing different bundles. Before ordering, look for Batman: Arkham Shadow in the product title or description and check the model or SKU on the listing and order confirmation. A generic Quest 3S listing is not proof that the game entitlement is attached. Retail pages show qualifying Batman bundles, including Target’s listing and Walmart’s listing; confirm the specific offer at checkout.

Meta’s promotion terms identify new Quest 3 and Quest 3S devices in specified storage capacities as eligible, but retailer fulfillment can depend on the exact SKU. The game is generally delivered digitally after activation, rather than as a disc. The activating Meta account must not already own or have received Batman: Arkham Shadow, and the headset must meet the promotion’s new-device and first-activation requirements. Used, refurbished, open-box or previously activated headsets should not be assumed eligible. Read Meta’s promotion terms before purchase; the offer is subject to the stated deadline and availability while supplies last.
How to claim the digital game
- Buy a new Quest 3S listing that explicitly identifies the Batman bundle. Keep the order confirmation and packaging.
- Sign in to—or create—the Meta account you intend to use for the headset and game.
- Connect the headset to the Meta Horizon mobile app and complete first-time setup and activation.
- Check the headset’s store, library and any on-screen promotion or redemption flow for the Batman entitlement. Follow the current prompts and claim it on the intended account.
- Download the game over Wi-Fi. Digital entitlements are associated with the account and should not be treated as transferable.
If the game does not appear, first verify that the delivered headset and order confirmation match the Batman bundle SKU, that setup is complete, and that the account has not already claimed the game. Restart the headset and update the Meta Horizon app, then check the store and library again. If the retailer promised the bundle but the product delivered does not match, contact the retailer first. If it confirms the device is eligible, contact Meta support with the receipt, serial number and photos of the box. Some buyers have reported missing entitlements in community discussions, but those reports are anecdotal and do not establish a general failure of the promotion.

Is 128GB enough?
The 128GB model is the cheapest entry point and should suit many first-time buyers, casual players and households with a modest game library. But storage is a real trade-off: a retailer product Q&A lists Batman: Arkham Shadow at approximately 18.29GB, and updates can change a game’s footprint. The operating system and other installed games also use space, so usable capacity is lower than the headline storage number.

Quest 3S or Quest 3?
The Quest 3S is a lower-cost way into Meta’s standalone Quest ecosystem: ordinary use does not require a gaming PC or console. It offers access to the platform’s games and mixed-reality features, but the Quest 3 provides a more premium optical experience, with sharper-feeling lenses and a better visual sweet spot. If you are sensitive to clarity, plan long sessions, or expect to use the headset for reading or simulation games, compare the Quest 3’s current price before settling on the 3S. If keeping the purchase near $250 matters most, the 3S is the more budget-focused choice.
Either way, plan for a compatible Meta account, Wi-Fi for setup and downloads, enough clear physical space, and breaks if you experience motion discomfort. Comfort and battery life are also practical considerations; a lower purchase price does not make the headset the right fit for everyone.

What about Horizon+?
Some Batman bundle listings include a three-month Meta Horizon+ trial. It is a trial, not permanent access, and may renew as a paid subscription unless canceled under the applicable terms. Check the current renewal price and cancellation rules when activating it. Do not treat the trial as part of the Batman entitlement or assume every listing includes it. Retailer examples include QVC’s 256GB bundle listing.
Who should buy?
- Consider the 128GB deal if the live price is around $249.99, the listing clearly promises the Batman bundle, you want an affordable first VR headset, and 128GB fits your likely library.
- Consider 256GB if you will install many games or share the headset, provided the bundle contents and price premium make sense.
- Consider Quest 3 if the price difference is manageable and better optics matter more to you than the lowest entry price.
- Skip the deal framing if the current price is no longer $50 below the regular price, the listing does not explicitly include Batman, or you do not want the game. A bundled game is not a reason to buy a headset you otherwise would not choose.

The key checks are the live checkout price, exact SKU, new-device status, account eligibility and activation deadline. The surfaced terms give a December 31, 2026, 5:00 p.m. Pacific activation cutoff, subject to availability while supplies last, so buying near the deadline leaves less room to complete setup and claim the game.
