How to navigate Man-Eater’s Grotto
The grotto has ground-level and basement routes connected by ramps, with branching passages and dead ends. The route descriptions below follow walkthrough-reported landmarks; use the in-game map to orient yourself rather than treating this as a precise turn-by-turn map.

Enter the grotto and drop down into its lower route. Explore the upper ramps and side passages as you loop through the first area.

Look for a hidden gap that leads to the Screwed-Up Mineral relic. The GameFAQs walkthrough describes it along the upper route.

How to prepare for Alpha Rockworm Valmo
The boss heading in the GameFAQs walkthrough lists two enemies. Both are reported to be weak to Ice, resistant to physical attacks, and capable of calling reinforcements if left alive. The fight therefore rewards a party that can direct enough damage to both worms to defeat them in the same turn or sequence, before either can summon help. Choose a party for Ice access and coordinated damage
GameFAQs suggests two Mages, a Mage and Wizard, or another party arrangement with effective Ice magic. Treat those as examples, not mandatory builds: the practical test is whether your party can use Ice reliably and split or focus damage so neither worm survives long enough to summon reinforcements. Plan for paralysis
