Its Modrinth listing names Fabric as the loader and lists Minecraft 1.21.8 and versions 1.21–1.21.5 as supported; it also requires Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin. The listing gives example triggers, but not a complete inventory of the clips.
What the mod does
MC – Movie edition adds movie voice lines to gameplay. Its project description says audio can play when you open the game, respawn, pick up or use items, craft, use blocks, switch dimensions, or look at some mobs. The listing does not identify every line or map each clip to a specific trigger.
The project page pitches the effect as a way to “feel like Steve from the hit movie Minecraft” while playing. That is the creator’s description, not an independent assessment of how often the sounds play or how they affect gameplay. See the MC – Movie edition listing on Modrinth.
Compatibility and requirements
According to the Modrinth page, the project is for Minecraft: Java Edition and is client-side, so the listed setup is for the player’s game client rather than a server mod. The page lists Fabric and these game versions:
