The recap’s exact release wording was: “Spring to Life is our first game drop of the year, coming to all platforms on March 25.” It does not break the rollout down by edition, platform, region, or version number.

What did “Game Drop” mean in the announcement?

No. The same recap announced a separate movie-inspired live event for Bedrock Edition platforms, available from March 25 through April 7, 2025. It required Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, sold separately, and an internet connection; completing all challenges offered an exclusive cape. Those dates and requirements applied to that limited-time event, not to the Spring to Life game drop.
