What does Enhanced FOV do in Modern Warfare 4?
Enhanced FOV is a PC-exclusive option that uses physically accurate lens effects to expand the view near the edges of the monitor without changing the center FOV, according to the official PC feature announcement. It is therefore not simply a conventional FOV increase that widens the entire image. The stated aim is to add peripheral awareness while leaving the central view unchanged.
Whether that presentation suits you is a preference rather than a proven competitive advantage. Try it alongside the standard view and choose based on what feels clear and comfortable on your display.
Does Modern Warfare 4 have weapon bloom?
The official game announcement says bloom has been removed, describing hipfire shots as more direct, predictable and connected to the direction of the weapon. Its exact wording is: “Bloom has been removed, making hipfire shots feel more direct, predictable, and connected to where the weapon is pointed.” See the publisher’s announcement.

A September 30, 2026 Dot Esports guide uses “Weapon Bloom” as a heading and says shot direction is calculated from the barrel position for both aim-down-sights and hipfire shots. That is the guide’s description of shot direction, not evidence that the publisher has added a bloom mechanic. The clearest answer to “Does MW4 have weapon bloom?” is that the publisher says bloom has been removed.
Can your PC run Modern Warfare 4 at 90 FPS?
Dot Esports reports that the game supports 90 FPS at recommended PC specifications without manual settings changes. Treat this as a reported target, not a promise that every PC will reach or hold 90 FPS. The retrieved official PC announcement discusses high-frame-rate play and hardware scaling but does not give that specific 90 FPS figure or a component-by-component specification list.

The publisher says the game can scale across a wide range of hardware and can automatically configure settings. Those statements do not establish how a particular processor, graphics card, resolution or graphics preset will perform. A high-refresh-rate monitor may be useful if your PC produces higher frame rates, but the monitor itself cannot make the computer render at 90 FPS.

These are options rather than a single recommended setup. The useful choice depends on your GPU, display resolution and preference between image quality and frame rate. The announcement does not provide comparative performance results or identify one option as best for every system.
What other PC graphics and input features are included?
The official PC announcement also lists HDR10+, a global sharpness slider for upscalers, new shading and Filmic SMAA T2X settings, revised graphics settings and sub-frame mouse polling. It says there are more than 800 customization options across graphics, gameplay, input devices, interface and other areas. That figure describes the breadth of settings; it is not a count of performance presets.
