What to know about Pokémon Pokopia
Pokémon Pokopia puts players in control of a Ditto that has taken human form. The player gathers materials, crafts items and builds a welcoming place for Pokémon. Nintendo and The Pokémon Company describe it as the franchise’s first slow-paced life simulation game, with in-game time following the real world, including day-and-night changes and weather. It was listed for Nintendo Switch 2 and released worldwide on March 5, 2026. Nintendo and The Pokémon Company’s announcement

- Explore an Enhanced World: Enjoy new stylized 3D graphics that bring the Monster Hunter Stories series to life.

The companies reported more than 2.2 million units sold worldwide in the first four days after launch, including 1 million in Japan. The March 12 announcement says that launch-period count includes physical and digital copies; it is not a current lifetime sales total. Source: Nintendo and The Pokémon Company, March 12, 2026
How Monster Hunter Stories 3 differs from mainline Monster Hunter
Nintendo’s March roundup describes Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection as a turn-based RPG for Nintendo Switch 2, with players traversing an open world on the backs of monsties. Capcom’s August 1, 2025 announcement calls it the third title and official sequel in the Stories series. That earlier announcement also listed Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC; Nintendo’s March 2026 list specifically names Nintendo Switch 2. Capcom’s announcement
Rank #2
- Raise Your Team: Build and raise a team of Monsties, forming kinships with iconic Monsters from the Monster Hunter series like Chatacabra and Rey Dau.
- Battle in Turn-Based Combat: Experience the strategic turn-based battles using the popular rock-paper-scissor system of Power, Speed, and Technical.
- Explore an Enhanced World: Enjoy new stylized 3D graphics that bring the Monster Hunter Stories series to life.
The Stories games center on Monster Riders who form bonds with monsters, raise them and coexist with them. Capcom contrasts that approach with its mainline Monster Hunter games, which it describes as cooperative hunting action games. Capcom reported more than 122 million cumulative units for the Monster Hunter series as of June 30, 2025; that figure covers the franchise, not Monster Hunter Stories 3 or the Stories subseries. The other six listings span several styles rather than one dominant genre: Scott Pilgrim EX is a cooperative brawler, FATAL FRAME II is a horror remake, WWE 2K26 is a wrestling game, Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park is an expanded platform game, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage is a fighting game, and Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection gathers older entries into one collection. Nintendo’s roundup provides no comparable prices, review scores or performance tests, so those are not useful measures for ranking these releases from this information alone.
