During the documented Autumn Harvest Fest, players earned it from event login bonuses and limited bounties, then spent it on Harvest-themed hunter armor, layered armor, and Palico gear.
How to get an Autumn Harvest Ticket
The documented ways to earn tickets were the festival login bonus and limited bounties. The official Monster Hunter: World Steam announcement describes both methods for the 2019 Autumn Harvest Fest; Game8’s Autumn Harvest Ticket item guide also lists them.
These are event-period methods, not a guarantee that tickets can be earned from a current event. The Steam announcement, dated October 25, 2019, said the festival would end October 31, 2019, at 23:59 UTC. Game8’s festival guide records earlier PS4 dates of August 9–16, 2019, and a PC run from October 15, 2020, at 5 p.m. PDT through November 5, 2020, at 4:59 p.m. PDT. These are historical dates; the sources do not establish a current festival schedule.
What the ticket is used for
Tickets unlock Harvest-themed equipment and a delivery request for layered armor. The 2019 official announcement says: “With Autumn Harvest Tickets, you’ll be able to craft the Harvest armor set, as well as the Felyne Ghost set for your Palico.” It also identifies the Harvest Layered Armor delivery request.

Costs can differ by equipment variant and source listing. Confirm the specific crafting recipe or delivery request in your game rather than treating one total as universal.

The cited event dates are all in the past, and the available sources do not confirm whether or when the festival will return. If you already have a ticket, check the relevant equipment recipes and delivery requests in-game; if you do not, these historical event details alone do not provide a current way to earn one.
