MSI officially announced the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16G GAMING SLIM STALKER 2 EDITION on October 8, 2024. It is a co-branded version of MSI’s existing Gaming Slim RTX 4070 Ti SUPER—not a new GPU class or a faster S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2-specific variant.
The card was part of a four-product MSI and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl collection. Its differentiators are the themed exterior, software integration, and an original promotion offering the game’s Deluxe Edition in eligible regions. Current price, stock, and game-code availability require a live retailer or MSI Store check.
What MSI announced
MSI’s announcement, published from its Taipei dateline in August 2024 and dated October 8, 2024, introduced a themed product collection built around S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. The graphics card’s full name is GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16G GAMING SLIM STALKER 2 EDITION.
The collection also included:
- CLUTCH GM41 LIGHTWEIGHT WIRELESS STALKER 2 EDITION
- VIGOR GK41 STALKER 2 EDITION
- FORCE PRO WIRELESS STALKER 2 EDITION
MSI describes the graphics card on its official product page as a Gaming Slim model with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 styling and a themed MSI Center interface.

Is it a different RTX 4070 Ti SUPER?
No. This is best understood as a themed, co-branded implementation of MSI’s existing RTX 4070 Ti SUPER Gaming Slim design. It does not introduce a special GPU die, additional CUDA cores, exclusive ray-tracing hardware, or a unique S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 performance mode.
Its core specification is the same RTX 4070 Ti SUPER platform listed in MSI’s specifications:

The 2,625MHz figure is not the card’s default boost clock. MSI lists it as an Extreme Performance profile available through MSI Center. That distinction matters when comparing the special edition with ordinary RTX 4070 Ti SUPER cards.
Design and cooling
The card’s main hardware distinction is its S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2-themed exterior treatment and branding. MSI also provides a themed MSI Center interface. The design is aimed at fans who want their graphics card to match the game rather than buyers seeking a different level of GPU performance.
MSI lists the following Gaming Slim cooling technologies:
- TRI FROZR 3 thermal design
- TORX FAN 5.0 fans
- Core Pipe
- Airflow Control
- Nickel-plated copper baseplate
These are design features, not proof that this card is quieter or cooler than every other RTX 4070 Ti SUPER. MSI’s official material does not provide comparative noise, temperature, or frame-rate testing. Those claims would require independent testing.

The card measures 307 × 125 × 51mm and weighs 1,094g. At 51mm thick, it is not a single-slot card. Check both the maximum GPU length and the available expansion-slot clearance in the case before buying.
Ports, power, and display support
The official specification lists:
- Three DisplayPort 1.4a outputs
- One HDMI output with the HDMI 2.1a features listed by MSI
- Support for up to four displays
- Maximum digital resolution of 7680 × 4320
- One 16-pin power connector
MSI recommends a 700W power supply. Buyers should confirm that their PSU has a suitable 16-pin connection or an appropriate, properly installed adapter, along with enough power headroom and adequate cable clearance.
Was S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 included?
MSI’s original graphics-card promotion offered a digital copy of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl Deluxe Edition to qualifying purchasers. The offer was subject to regional eligibility, eligible product lines, redemption stock, promotion terms, and purchase-channel rules. The Deluxe Edition promotion applied specifically to the graphics-card offer; it should not automatically be assumed to apply to every peripheral in the collection.
MSI’s promotion terms stated that:
- Redemption supplies were limited.
- Eligible products could vary by region.
- Marketplace purchases might not qualify under the same terms.
- The code was for personal use.
- The code did not provide early access.
- The game was playable from its official launch date of November 20, 2024.
That launch date is historical, not an upcoming release date. In 2026, the existence of the original promotion does not prove that a newly purchased or second-hand card still includes a valid code.
Price and availability
MSI’s announcement and the official product material covered here do not establish a confirmed MSRP or a current selling price. The MSI USA S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 collection page is the relevant official store reference, but current stock and pricing must be confirmed directly at the time of purchase.

This edition makes the most sense for buyers who already want an RTX 4070 Ti SUPER-class card and place real value on the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 design. It may also appeal to collectors who want the matching MSI product line or buyers who prefer the Gaming Slim form factor.
The design premium is easier to justify when the price is close to a comparable standard RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and the game code is valid in the buyer’s region. Once the promotion has expired, however, the card’s value depends primarily on its hardware, condition, warranty, and collector appeal.
Who should skip it?
- Buyers focused strictly on performance per dollar.
- Anyone paying a substantial scarcity premium over a standard RTX 4070 Ti SUPER.
- Buyers who do not want the game or cannot redeem it in their region.
- Users whose cases cannot accommodate a 307mm-long, 51mm-thick graphics card.
- Systems without a suitable 16-pin power connection or the recommended power capacity.
- Buyers who can obtain a newer-generation GPU with materially better performance or features at a similar current price.
Buying checklist
- Confirm the exact model name and seller.
- Check the card’s 307 × 125 × 51mm dimensions against the case.
- Verify the power supply, 16-pin connection, and cable clearance.
- Ask whether the game code is included, unredeemed, and valid in your region.
- Confirm the promotion’s current status rather than relying on launch-era advertising.
- Check whether the card is new, refurbished, or used.
- Review country-specific warranty terms.
- Keep the invoice, serial number, seller details, promotional code, and redemption confirmation.
Do not assume MSI will replace a code purchased through an unauthorized marketplace seller. The promotion’s regional and channel restrictions remain important even when a listing claims that the game is included.

The MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16G GAMING SLIM STALKER 2 EDITION is a collector-oriented RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, not a fundamentally different or faster graphics processor. Its appeal comes from the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 styling, themed MSI Center interface, Gaming Slim cooler, and original Deluxe Edition game promotion.
Choose it when those extras matter and the price is reasonable compared with ordinary RTX 4070 Ti SUPER cards. Skip it when a large collector premium remains, the game code is uncertain, or a newer GPU offers better current value.
